this is from the album christmas with mario lanza with the best choir i have heard

of which this song is a good example ,the choirs do not seem to get the same sound nowadays ,you want to hear them sing o holy night it is what makes this album so great

I've sung along with Mario Lanza's recordings since I was a child. I loved hearing The Virgin Slumber Song again. Lanza had a stunningly beautiful voice.
