I know how to fix it, first lock and then unlock your ipod and then hold down Menu and the "action" button for a few seconds, as soon as you see the apple logo click and hold down the previous soung button with the action button.

Go to IO and select some of the options there to make sure your ipod is ok, after reset the ipod again but this time do not hold down previous song when the logo omes up. Plug in your ipod, and go to itunes and reset it. (this is your last chance)

Ok, Mac OS X is O.K, but itunes, ipods are bad. seriously. I used to use a mac and an iPod. And I do think windows does kind of suck. Linux is good though. iPods have many flaws. creative zens flaws: heavy, thick. everything has flaws mac products have more. And I said burn anything apple b cause 1 month ago, I was sssssoooo pissed at macs. reason: (swirling rainbow thingy and had to reboot)
