About the Big Bang theory: I suggest you watch the TV programme 'BBC Horizon What came before the Big Bang', which displays some theories of how it all came to be. Why is it easier for you to imagine a complex conscious being that has been around for infinity and created the world than, say, energy that is constant and has been there for infinity and came together to cause a 'Big Bang'?

@JesusChic16 The long (13.72 billion year!) road to eventual life, as we have it now, is one that scientists don't and possibly will never, know fully. We do, however, have a pretty good idea of it and I'm afraid I wouldn't do it justice in explaining it here (nor do I have the space). I find it easier to believe in unconscious energy that exists eternally than a God, because it is simpler. It stands to reason that simple, constant energy is more like to just simply exist than am eternal God.

A language has to be created by some sort of inteligence, therefore I believe in a creator not random mutations in DNA to evolve species. The building blocks of life were created (and have been created in experiments) using lightning and early elements present on Earth then. From there (and it took a lot of Earth's 4.5 billion year history) they combined until primitive but more complex building blocks were formed. The process continues for billions of years.

He used to come in day in and on the set of Growing Pains & condem his fellow cast mates, writers, & crew members as being "immoral & ungodly". That includes the ones who would go to Church! They also tried to do a commentary track for the DVD release, and he did the same thing. I think he has severe mental problems. I work with the mentally ill, I think he needs help.

If you don't follow "his version" of Christianity he will condem you and try to convert you. About the Big Bang theory: I suggest you watch the TV programme 'BBC Horizon What came before the Big Bang', which displays some theories of how it all came to be. Why is it easier for you to imagine a complex conscious being that has been around for infinity and created the world than, say, energy that is constant and has been there for infinity and came together to cause a 'Big Bang'?

@JesusChic16 The long (13.72 billion year!) road to eventual life, as we have it now, is one that scientists don't and possibly will never, know fully. We do, however, have a pretty good idea of it and I'm afraid I wouldn't do it justice in explaining it here (nor do I have the space). I find it easier to believe in unconscious energy that exists eternally than a God, because it is simpler. It stands to reason that simple, constant energy is more like to just simply exist than am eternal God.

A language has to be created by some sort of inteligence, therefore I believe in a creator not random mutations in DNA to evolve species. The building blocks of life were created (and have been created in experiments) using lightning and early elements present on Earth then. From there (and it took a lot of Earth's 4.5 billion year history) they combined until primitive but more complex building blocks were formed. The process continues for billions of years.

Life came about through very slow, step-by-step changes that eventually led up to what we have now. About the deaf man: give me proof of one deaf man who, without any help from medical science, made a completely miraculous recovery (and I don't just mean something that doctors say is 'unlikely', those things happen ALL the time) from deafness.

Just a thought..Of all the actors to pick to play the part of pres of the U.S. a black man was choosen. In the movie he helps bring the anti christ to power.Isn't it ironic that we now have a black president in the U.S...Think God was giving a clue as to what is to come???

Some of these comments are highly offensive Christian or not. Resorting to cussing and name calling by any standards is poor show. No matter what you believe the book series were great reads. I have seen the first two films and they were entertaining as well. While people can debate their beliefs left and right there is only one thing that really matters - To love one another. Very simple, that's it. Whether I believe in Christ or not does not mean I have to be a bad person either way.

Why is it so important for those that do not have faith to prove that Christianity is just a joke? Why are those that do not accept so offended, and why is Jesus such a subject of discomfort, but not any other foundation of belief?
I ask these questions not to insult, but to allow those who wonder why we believe to consider in their hearts why they believe what they believe. What is the only foundation of belief that allows us to have a full purpose for our existence? Faith makes sense.

And the reason Jesus has become a discomfort is your attempt to shove him down peoples throught. That and the condescending rethoric you set in motion almost every single time, makes people laugh at you.

@F1R3STR1K3 Friend - I have met, talked and discussed religion and faith with so many people - both here.. and outside and I fear for the sanity of christian followers - the comment you replied to is a year old and I have made discoveries over that year.. but I'm sorry to say it has also confirmed my observations time and time again ... and my knowledge of the Christian faith has many times made me wonder how much Christians know of their own religion... so many seem so deluded...

U cn't go by outwrd appearanc or th fact tht they cn quote Scripture. Wht is ther lifestyl byon th ch. @COMPASSION2611 Exactly - and to be honest i love some of His stories and analogies - whether He actually said those or not is irrelevant - what matters is their meaning, and what they mean to you.. but what scares me about Christians - is their self-righteousness, their narrow-minded and hostile nature and that they claim to follow a word of love and compassion - yet they also praise passages in the bible that are filled with hate, bigotry, murder and violence... things so far from Jesus...

Truth is that the world is corrupt 1.) out of the world lies the truth hidden beneath deception 2.) Finding out that truth is needed by faith and not by mans own actions since his actions are also corrupt. 3.) Gods word is alive and breathing and those actions are determined by your judgments, whether you are a believer or not.
