we call them cotton buds over here, and they aren't recommended for that exact reason. you could accidentally go too far into the ear and puncture the ear drum. plus, they usually just push wax further into the ear, thus causing blockage.
I'm the same way though. After ear surgery when I was younger, my left year is almost always itchy, so Q-tips are God when I use them to "scratch/massage," especially that ear. I love them.
If I ever get the opportunity, I'll totally give Tegan a box of Q-Tips. :P
I just read an article in a newspaper that a boy at age 2 suddenly lost his abbility to hear in his right ear and after 9years he could hear again, he said that he felt something 'pop' in his ear and when he touched his ear he found the top of a q-tip in it. When he was cleaning his ear the q-tip broke off and got stuck in his ear, but at the age of 11, his ear had grown and the q-tip came loose. So that's another danger of q-tips. Love this story though,, love all of their story's !! =
LOL no.. not at all. They never really say specifically what their songs are about. So talking about pigeons on Sara's patio then saying "and thats what this song is about"... funny stuff!
They give hints of what they're really about sometimes true. Or I should say, what INSPIRED their songs. My bad saying NEVER. I just really like the "and thats what this song is about" segway :0)
Oh god, she mentioned Perks of Being A Wallflower... I didn't think I could like T&S any more than I already did
