suresh has spoken some good words on the great RAFI SAHAB but zakir has never even mentioned RAFI SAHABS NAME/.how unfortunate that these ustads doesnt realize that RAFI SAHAB was beyond amazing in every aspect of india music, including classical. no instrument in the world can sound as pretty as RAFI SAHABS VOICE

@FAQEERAHMED that's coz classical singing is different. I'm sure Uztad Zakir would have spoken volumes about Pandit Jasraj, Nustrat Fateh Ali Khan coz they're more technical and focus completely on vocals and improvisations, ppl like you & me won't enjoy it much. Cinema singers like Rafi Saab, Kishore Kumarji focus more on the emotions and how to sing it beautifully. I'll say general audience prefer cinema like singing while music experts applaud classical singers. 2 different interests.
