  • Ahh, innocence. I weep for you.

  • So nice , thanks for sharing !

  • MY DADS NAME CECIL I LOVE BEANY & CECIL

  • Nya ah ah!

  • Anyone ever stop to think that this cartoon was for the pure enjoyment for adults and not so much directed for children? This cartoon was and perhaps, maybe to share some history and to encourage the children of that era to participate covert operations and espionage...lol Cape Banana peal..aka: Cape Canaveral...This is a humoristic cartoon for the government...

  • cecil gets his man.

  • WEIRD!!..NYAAH AAH AAH!!!!

  • Dear WYTZOX,"Capt.Huffenpuff"looks like "Skipper Jonas Grumby"from "Gilligan's Island"? Come On!? He doesn't look anything like"The Skipper".

  • I learned to "Nyah ah ah," by watching this show. Thank you for posting it, person.

  • I never noticed before that the Skipper on Gilligan's Island seemed to resemble Captain Huffenpuff, a chubby jolly captain of a tiny ship with a little buddy on board! LOL.

  • I never noticed before that the Skipper on Gilligan's Island seemed to resemble Captain Huffenpuff, a chubby jolly captain of a tiny ship.

  • @WytZox1 I thought the animated "Beany and Cecil" cartoons were filmed in 1962 and 1963; "Gilligan's Island" premiered in 1964.

  • @altfactor -- You're correct! Perhaps Alan Hale Jr. based his character on Captain Huffenpuff, ya think?

  • OMG! Doesn't that dolt "DJ"know the differenc between Swiss Cheese and Gorgonzolla Cheese?!(LOL!).

  • I was born in 1987 and distinctly remember watching this over and over and over every night on out small little TV and a Beta! OMG....memories.

  • NYAH AH AH.

  • I wonder why he has a mousetrap in the capsule with him... Probably it's the equivalent of a suicide pill in case he gets captured by the Soviets.

  • @mcenn Or maybe he's genre savvy and always keeps a healthy stock of cartoon gags in his capsule!

  • Damn, this cartoon be ballin' outta control.

G-shit, son. Real Gs only, please. Bob Clampett be swaggin' on a hunned-thousand.

  • An anvil to the groin 4:33 . Try that Johny Noxvile!

  • Someone's gotta do Dishonest John's laugh as a Sparta Remix!

    Nya ah ahhh...

  • I recognized Paul Frees. He also did the voice of Squddly Diddly.

  • great cartoon!

  • "I'll buy a solid gold trampoline, diamond studded roller skates & mink covered bongo drums!" LOL!!! Classic dialogue!!!

  • I have not seen this show in forty years! this is good stuff.

  • @TheMikee2009 \

I agree - I loved this cartoon as a kid!

  • my dad made me a copy 2 or 3 years ago, but i lost it.

  • I'm old enough to remember this when it was new. It's on dvd. Yya ah ahhh!

  • DIRTY DEEDS!!!!

  • Bigg, Paul Frees was hard to get (as witness here, and the few times Warner Brothers sued him, like "The Incredible Mister Limpet"), due to his legendary above-scale fee.

  • 3,2,1...SQUUUEEZZE!

  • This was the only "Beany & Cecil" episode that was voiced by Paul Frees, to my knowledge.

  • Paul Frees was also the terror-vision narrator in "Beany & Cecil Meet the Invisible Man."

  • I used to watch these with my dad too fitzington, he used to do imitations of Dishonest John and we would laugh so hard. I didn't realize then how political these were. He also did a great imitation of Oil Can Harry from Mighty Mouse.

  • My dad used to imitate Dishonest John too! LOL. Most people I know have never heard of this cartoon. I'm glad I can send them somewhere to get a peek

  • These are awesome!

  • nnnnh hahaha

  • I used to watch these cartoons with my dad when I was a kid. He knew who all of the cartoon voices were (Stan Freberg,Daws Butler, June Foray, etc.) and we would both laugh our asses off, for different reasons but it was a great way to spend time with the old man. I was such a big fan someone gave me a beany copter for my 11th birthday. I wish I had it now.

  • The little space alien who ran"The Rickey

    Rocket Shop"is"Bepping Tom".

  • They also had a character called Graham Cracker and another that was a little spaceman in his rickity-wrackity rocket ship. I wonder if anyone has a video clip of them?

  • Paul Frees also does narration. He also worked for Clampett's former studio WB on "The Incredible Mr.Limpet", as Crusty, and a few offscreen voices.I think he did part of the narration (with Frank Graham) to that offbeat Friz Freleng Elmer Fudd cartoon of 1948, "Each Dawn I Crow".

  • Makes me feel 5 years old again...thanks for posting it!

  • Haven't seen an episode of this series in 40 years!

I am amzed at the obscure and hasrd-to-find material

    I find on YouTube!

  • Paul Frees is the "special guest voice" (as "Little Ace") here, with regulars Irv Shoemaker, Jim MacGeorge and Walker Edminston. Clampett's puns are atrocious, but funny!!

  • Meh, I think there's been worse puns on Danger Mouse and Count Duckula.

  • Yeah, that was his thing...other characters included Billy the Squid, Tear-Along the Dotted Lion (oof!), etc.

  • I just love the bad guý´s laugh :) NHE AH AH!!!

  • So awesome, yet so underrated. =(

  • DJ....you dirty Guy!!!

  • who ever does the voice is great. It actually sounds outraged.

  • These are awesome! Thanks kappappa!

  • I actually like these cartoons better than Bullwinkle.

  • Along with Bullwinkle, Beany & Cecil were the best cartoons of the early 60's. Just wonderful cartoons..
