  • Lame video

  • This person obviously never got a true understanding of the nature of God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost. But choosing to leave is their business. Naturally, the anti-Mormonism type are all in a tizzy with joy.

  • Leaving one fairy tale for another is a tragedy of the mind.

  • I find it sad how people will leave one church and believe in another.

  • You should be a shame, but will see how you can defend your self in the second coming. You will have no words to say then because you knew the truth but you never had the guts to ask the lord and develop your true faith. See you in the second coming!!!!!!!!!! :)

  • @jessyjessica123 I fear 4 U, because U must really want 2 believe the lie of Mormonism. 2 Thessalonians 2:8-12 gives strong warning 4 people who want to believe lies. Jesus taught the way to Hell was broad and that many people go that way. Mormonism teaces it is impossible to go anywhere bad, unless you are a Mormon who rebels against Mormonism. Jesus taught heaven and earth would pass away, but His word would not pass away. Mormonism teaches that the word of God got corrupted & needed restored.

  • @carterfamily8903 I really appreciate your work, my brother. Burning blessings of Jesus' Beauty in your being and intimate blessings of affection from His Holy Heart... :-)

  • @jessyjessica123 hahahahaha the second coming hahahahahahaa

    When will Jesus Smith "come"?

  • You are an idiot.

  • @TheCheenKween I take it that you are fully indoctrinated in the lies of Mormonism, but have no valid correction to make to the video? 1 Corinthians 1:17,18 teaches that to those who are perishing, the truth of God looks foolish. 2 Thessalonians 2:8-12 speaks of those who want to believe lies, so God lets them believe them and be damned. I hope you are not desiring to believe any lies.

  • @jessyjessica123

You sound happy about the possibility that someone might be Damned.

Are you full of Joy about it...you sound like you are.

Does the loss of a Soul make you wet?

    So happy...so happy.

Yes, you probably will see a lot of ex-Mormons at the Second Coming.

    They will be with Christ.

They will be Clothed in Robes washed in His Blood and not Mormon Doctrine.

Brigham and Joseph won't be there.

  • Thanks again for sharing all of this wonderful information "Rain Man". this would be funny if someone stood infront of a Mormon church testimony session and started spouting all of those scripture verses.

  • thanks for this, its very helpful information.

  • @sneekapeek707 Thank you. I am glad that you found it helpful.

  • Gods word in the Bible (the ONLY true word of God) never records any racist issues. In actual fact there is ONLY one race, the human race. In the middle east peoples skin colour covers all colours.

  • The verses here are symbolic talking about darkness of skin/eyes/filthiness as representing sin and ignorance and absence of light and truth and knowledge. After all the scriptures no where and no where in the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints teaches anyone to teach anyone to mistreat, abuse or treat anyone other than as they should treat themselves.

If you want of make up a reason to hate anything you can.

  • @AdAequitas Black people were not symbolically banned from holding the Mormon Priesthood because of their skin color, they were literally banned from the priesthood, until the political pressures became to great, and the Mormon church had to abandon another teaching. Just like polygamy, and just like their blood oaths and the mocking of Christian pastors, which were removed from the temple ceremony in 1990.

  • @carterfamily8903 I only stated the symbolism referred to in those verses. What you are referring to something completely different which was the blacks being allowed to begin holding the priesthood in 1978. It was a wonderful day I remember that day all my life and will always remember how happy I was!!!!!!

  • @carterfamily8903 It was also coincidentally common pretty much across the board in all so called Christian denominations that the blacks nor women could hold the Priesthood in any church. I personally, find this interesting because Joseph Smith himself ordained one black man to the Priesthood himself and was always against slavery. In fact, early church members were persecuted, killed and driven from Missouri because they were considered Abolishionists.

  • @AdAequitas Joseph made up the "scripture" passages that talk of black people as inferior, & people who R supposedly hated, just because of their skin color. Priesthood is not a part of Christianity. U do not find any person who is a Christian, in the New Testament, who is said 2 hold the Aaronic or Melchizedek priesthoods. Only Jesus can have the Melchizedek priesthood, since a requirement 4 it is an endless life Hebrews 7:16,17. Priests make sacrifices 4 sin, Jesus was the last sacrifice 4 sin

  • @carterfamily8903 Joseph never wrote degrading or demeaning things about any race. Absolutely the Priesthood of God has always existed since the time of Adam on the earth it is the authority to act in God's name on the earth binding on earth and in heaven.

  • @AdAequitas The whole role of every priest, is to make offerings to God. Even in the New testament, where it says all believers in Christ ARE A HOLY PRIESTHOOD in 1 Peter 2:5 it is for offering SPIRITUAL sacrifices. There is no person in the New Testament who is given some priesthood, that does not belong to every believer. Joseph certainly made up degrading things about black people. The Bible teaches explicitly that God is no respector of persons, that He made all nations of men, of one blood.

  • @carterfamily8903 you have presented no concrete evidence of your claim that Joseph Smith hated black people. He actually ordained a black man to the Holy Priesthood named Elijah Abel a former slave. Who even had a son who had a son who both had the priesthood. Elijah also served a church mission and travelled west with the rest of the members when the travelled to Utah. As did other former slaves your comments have no validity.

  • @AdAequitas

Trip over a splinter and ignore the wall.

Nit pick on the small details and quickly skip past one of the most effective indictments of Joseph Smith that I have ever read.

Typical behavior for those in denial.

  • @AdAequitas

Blind Mormon. You have missed the point completely:

Smith made the entire thing up.

This man left because he found out Smith was a fraud.

  • @AdAequitas

Joseph had much to say regarding Black people.

    And it was never good.

    LDS D&C Covenant 134:12

And Brigham had even more to say: "The Lord had cursed Cain's seed with blackness and prohibited them the Priesthood." ~Brigham Young~

And Pratt, McConkie and Joseph Fielding Smith followed suit.

I can provide several damning quotes from each man.

Brigham was rabid in his hatred of Blacks.

Journal of Discourses, Vol. 7, pages 290-291

  • @hammerogod ... yeah, right. None of the LDS prophets hated blacks and there are no damning quotes....except in your imagination. Naturally, you quote from the Journal of Discourses, a body of work that you know LDS do not accept as doctrinal. And what's with the "LDS D&C Covenant" thingie? It's just plain D&C, or Doctrine and Covenants. If you're going to be dishonest about our doctrine, at least get the names correct! :oP

  • @JediLDS

Let's start here ---> What does the D in D&C stand for?

    Can you read this:

"I have given you a few leading items upon this subject, but a great deal more remains to be told. Now, remember from this time forth, and for ever, that Jesus Christ was not begotten by the Holy Ghost." (~Brigham Young~ Journal of Discourses, vol. 1, p. 51)

    Your Prophets set your Doctrine.

  • @JediLDS

    More reading for you:

"...no man or woman in this dispensation will ever enter into the celestial kingdom of God without the consent of Joseph Smith," (~Brigham Young~ Journal of Discourses, vol. 7, p. 289)

    Your Prophets set your Doctrine.

  • @JediLDS

    Here is some more:

    "We must believe in slavery."

(~Brigham Young~ Quoted by Quinn, Extensions of Power p 749)

  • @JediLDS

    More? OK.....

“The only men who become Gods, even the Sons of God, are those who enter into polygamy.”(~Brigham Young~ Journal of Discourses, Vol. 11, page 269)

    Your Prophets set your Doctrine.

  • @JediLDS

Let's hit it one more time:

"Now if any of you will deny the plurality of wives, and continue to do so, I promise that you will be damned," (~Brigham Young~ Journal of Discourses, vol. 3, p. 266)

You may say that LDS don't recognize the Journal of Discourses as Doctrine I call you a liar and say that it is the ONLY source of Doctrine for most LDS.

    Your Prophets set your Doctrine.

Not God and not the Bible

Your Doctrines are derived by Private Interpretation.

    And they are Blasphemy

  • @JediLDS

Anything to is spoken of in the D&C is either Doctrine OR Covenant...I was referring to the Covenant aspect of the quote.

It was not specifically a Doctrinal statement it was a statement of an existing Covenant issue.

I was being helpful and informative about the nature of the statement for those who are not soaked in the lies of Mormonism and may not have understood the differences.

I was not dishonest in making a clear separation of one kind of bullshit from another kind of bullshit

  • @hammerogod Come on, Hammer, you know better. There is NO hatred in D&C134:12, except on your part if you really believe that JS should have taught the opposite of what he did. THAT, if allowed, would have put the slaves in more trouble and caused them more punishment than they were already suffering. Slaves going against the wishes of their masters at the time? As JS said, such interference would have been "jeopardizing the lives of men".

  • @JediLDS

..."Come on, Hammer, you know better"...

I know better than to be drawn further into your blasphemy.

But what I said is still a quote and words have meanings.

Take the words, as written, and what do you have?

You have a statement that supports one of the cruelest man on man crimes ever committed on this planet.

I want you to address this passage of Scripture --> Numbers 23:19(a) "God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind"

  • @hammerogod Sorry, hammer, but you are seeing cruelty on the part of the LDS church where there is none. What JS was saying was basically, "leave the blacks alone--don't make it any worse for them." LDS did not support slavery. Also, I fail to see any blasphemy in D&C 134:12. Perhaps you'd care to show me where it is, then we can discuss the consequences had JS allowed missionary work to be done among black at that time?

  • @AdAequitas

“This Greeley is one of their popular characters in the East, and one that supports the stealing of Niggers and the underground railroad.... ~ Journal of Discourses, Vol. 5, page 119~

  • I hate this guy's speaking voice

  • the church is not racist and is not politically correct look at prop 8 we stood up for what was right

  • @jonnygotz2343 The church has started giving black people the priesthood, but the racist statements are still in the BOM and Pearl of Great Price. The church always backs down, when the pressure gets to tough. I'm looking for, and have already seen some backing down on their gay marriage issue. I expect in time they will fully backpedal, on this issue. Though the Bible does explicitly teach that homosexuality is an abomination, and a sin, though no more unforgivable than any other sin.

  • @carterfamily8903 denying the holyspirit is an abomination

  • @jonnygotz2343 The Holy Spirit guides people into truth. The Mormon church is not true. The Bible is true, and every word of God in the Bible is true. The Mormon church is a Satanic lie, that Brainwashes people into accepting whatever they say, while ignoring what the Bible says to the contrary.

  • @carterfamily8903 no its not we dont brainwash anyone. when we pray about the book of mormon we get a confirmation from the holy spirit

  • @jonnygotz2343 The Holy Spirit is not a feeling, and feelings do not dictate truth. If a person prays about the BOM, and they do not get the feeling, or decide that it is true, the assumption is that they did not do something right. It is a brainwashing circle. If you pray, and it doesn't happen, then read it again and pray again, because it is true, so if you don;t get the feeling, it is your fault, you did something wrong. This is brainwashing.

  • @carterfamily8903 not its not its faith

  • Thus there are, in the Eternal Godhead, three persons--God the first, the Creator; God the second, the Redeemer; and God the third, the Testator. These three are one--one God if you will--in purposes, in powers, and in perfections. But each has his own severable work to perform, and mankind has a defined and known and specific relationship to each one of them. It is of these relationships that we shall now speak.

  • @jonnygotz2343 As long as you make a god in the image of man, he can be fully understood. Once You want to deal, with the only true God, the real Creator of all that is. He is infinite in every way. Man is very finite, in every way, good luck understanding everything about the Creator of all that is. Man deities can be more comfortable for our minds, and sinful lives, but they do no eternal good for us. God hates idolatry. The first commandment was to have no other gods, before God.

  • because they are one Godhead he is the father and the son in some sense

  • and darkness was in their hearts not because of their skin color

  • and blackness could have meant boils or leprosy no prove it meant black people and besides it was the mark not the color of skin

  • besides the protestant church left england and enslaved people and said it was because of the curse of ham. so dont use those arguments against the church cause all churches did it even the eygptians enslaved jews

  • i know black people who are members and priesthood holders of this church we are not racist

  • @jonnygotz2343 Mormonism bends and twists and changes, to be politically correct. The Book of Mormon and Pearl of Great Price, as well as Brigham Young, and many of the early church leaders, were extremely racist. Watch my videos on racism and the Book of Mormon to see how twisted Josephs views of race really were, in direct opposition to the Bible.

  • Even though I am not a mormon, I will say that Abraham 1:21 does correlate with Old Testament scripture that refers to the Egyptians as "of that Hamitic race".

(Hamitic = referring to Ham, or Cham, as his name is often written, when translated directly from Hebrew, into English): the "Ch" sound being similar to the same sound, in the name Bach, or in the German word "nach".

  • God bless you & reward you according to your real intentions.

I've also studied deeply the Bible, the Book of Mormon, the Pear of Great Price, and Doctrine & Covenants, and besides a few editorial errors you can find in all them, I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true restored Church of Jesus in latter days. It is the only Church that teaches the same Gospel Jesus taught (i.e, do good to all men, emphasizing charity, and un interested service to all mankind.)

  • The true gospel that Jesus taught, was that we are sinners who cannot go to heaven, because God does not dwell with sinners. Jesus taught that He was God, and the only way to heaven. He taught that He was going to die for the sins of the world, and that His blood would remove the sins of everyone who believed in Him, so that they could go to heaven, & be in the presence of the God who cannot dwell with sinners. Read John Chapter 3 very carefully from beginning to end, then study the whole Bible.

  • I have. That's why I'm LDS.

  • If studying the Bible is why you are LDS, perhaps you could identify some verses in the Bible, to support the LDS teachings, that God was once a man, who became a god. That there is or ever will be more than one God. Eternal marriage, the idea that Cains mark had anything to do with a curse, or was genetic. That Aaronic priesthood can be held by men who are not direct descendants of Aaron, that endless genealogies ought to be done so that human rituals can be performed for the dead. etc.

  • God was once a man, and more than one God, those are not church doctrine or precept.

The verse about endless geneaologies was because some people had ancestors who were important or whatever, and the Bible is just saying that it's not important who you're ancestors are.

  • The churches of today do not even come close to worshipping as the Biblical church would have.

There is nothing in the Bible that says no more prophets.

There is nothing in the Bible that says "no more BIBLE".

Oh, and the Cain thing, that's not doctrine either. Theory only.

  • Talking about a skin color on a make believe people. What a concept. Definitely not Christian.

  • Who said God is a racist?

Sin is black, forgiveness is not.

  • Mormon scriptures teach God is racist, though the Bible teaches God made all nations of men of 1 blood. It further teaches that God is no respector of persons. The Mormon Pearl of Great Price, teaches that God turned Cains skin black, & that this was his curse, while the Bible teaches the curse on Cain, was that the ground would not yield plentiful crops 4 him, & God in mercy put a mark on Cain, which most likely had nothing 2 do with skin color & most likely was not passed on 2 his children.

  • The operative words in your post are "most likely".

  • Yes they are, where ther Bible is silent, I do not pretend as Joseph Smith did, to speak for God. If there was a change in skin color, and if it was hereditary, there is just as good a chance that Cain may have been the first white man. One thing is for certain, if our skins turned black due to sin, every person on this earth, would be as black as black could be. God made all nations of men, of one blood, we all are sinners, who can only be saved, by the grace of God. We've all earned Hell.

  • And since turning the Lamanite's skin dark, it stayed that way, even tho at times thru the 1000 years of the B of M, the Lamanites were not always unrighteous, and the Nephites were not alwayw righteous. There was only one time when SOME Lamanites were changed again.

  • God is not changing or inconsistent. If He were changing peoples skin black or white, centuries ago, because of sin, or righteousness, He would still be doing it today. If black skin where a curse for sin, we would all be very black. Self righteousness, is one of the biggest sins, and God lists a proud look first, in His list of things He hates.

  • black skin was NOT THE curse. They cursed themselves and black skin was a MARK of the curse.

  • @lindalds

Keep digging that hole a little deeper. Soon, you will be so far down, into it, that you will look very, very "dark", to those peering in.

  • dig what hole? the TRUTH is not a hole.

  • So black people, cursed themselves, and their skin is proof or mark of that curse? but black skin was not the curse?..whats the difference?

  • @chanbrent Black skin was never a curse, and black people are no more cursed than white people or any other color of people. All colors, were in the genes that Adam and Eve possessed. All people are under the curse of sin, until they accept Jesus Christ as their Lord (Master) and Savior.

  • From what I understand, CAIN was cursed because he killed his brother. A mark was put on him so people would not kill him for what he had done. Many believe this was dark skin. Others say HAM was the one cursed because he "looked at his father's nakedness". Many believe this is the start of the blacks (of African descent), and why they were "cursed". Me, personally, I don't know and I don't really care. Everything is back to where it should be.

  • @lindalds There is no indication in the Bible that Cains curse, would pass 2 his children. The Bible teaches the fathers are to be punished for their own sins, and their sons are to be punished for their own sins. Even assuming Black skin were a curse, it does not explain, red, yellow, white, black, and brown. Skin color is passed down in genes. This means, Adam and Eve had to have genes, for all skin colors. I believe skin colors were isolated, at the time languages were, at the tower of Babel.

  • It wasn't just because of sin, but because of unrighteousness; I believe there is a difference.

  • The Bible teaches that God does not dwell with sinners, and that there is none righteous, no not one. Jesus not only died to pay for our sin, but He lived a perfect righteous life, which is imputed to us, on our account, at the same time our sins are placed on Him. Romans 4:5-8

  • amen!

  • @carterfamily8903 those scriptures dont say that. it says a pure and delightsome people not black or white
