  • Bruford rules..end of story

  • Man these are some serious Bass Parts!! Big Ups to Doni Harvey!!!! RIP Pops!!

  • baru kenal langsung suka

  • He's good, but comparing Phil and him, it sounds like Phil packs more beats into each phrase, and he seems to hit the changes BEFORE the rest of the band reaches them, where Bruford seems a shade behind in some instances. He's competent, but he doesn't have the same quick sensibilities that Phil had on the first two albums. In Brand X, Collins never KEPT time, he was always setting a faster pace, and the rest always sounded like they were struggling to keep up.

  • @heubler1 That was the most ridiculous thing I have ever read...comparing Bruford and Collins. There is no drummer MORE accurate and PURPOSEFUL than Bill Bruford out there, he and Collins each have INDIVIDUAL approaches to playing and each plays the songs they play AS they are meant to be played.

  • Thanks so much for posting this. I'd never heard it.

  • wonderful.

    didn't know it.

  • This was a fun session. Great musicans to play with.

  • Close and pretty good. Not Brand X without Percy Jones!

  • wow. great fusion! & of course, it's Brand X-ish!

  • Great recording from a cassette. Bayete and Doni Harvey were previously in the excellent band Automatic Man.

  • Woaow !!!

  • been a bruford & brand x fan for over 30 years-dont know how i missed this one- CLASSIC X- bruford takes them to a different level-Xcellent

  • @peshwriter me too. I had no idea that Bruford played with them once. very cool, though I agree with adewolf. It's hard to call them Brand X without Percy.

It's like YES w/out Jon Anderson, sort of

  • cobarde este me borraste o k

  • Never heart from/about John Goodsall project, before..Sounds like BrandX (one of my favourites in 1978 and still...) Thanks for posting !
