aww why is everyone being so mean poor baby ryan?? he's probably nervous as hell, i mean, he never really gets the main spotlight, and even if i had to perform infront of a room of only 10 people,my voice would be shaky and i'd be scared. and brendon sings all the time, so of course his voice is going to be more experienced and powerful. plus, if you watch some interviews, brendon is always more outgoing while ryan just kinda sits there and is shy. anyways, i still think they did amazing!!<3

When the power is all his he goes a little too far back in time with the style of music. When his ideas mix with modern day music you get an album like "Pretty. Odd" which was pretty amazing.

Very diverse songwriter, i mean, look at the difference between panic's 1st and 2nd album, and they're both amazing. He does go too far back with the style of music though, young veins are straight out of the 60's with pretty much no influence from modern music. Which is a shame because his attempt at modern pop music (FYCSO) was sooo good. but yeah, I'm rambling.

@HannahhhLizz Thats pretty obvious, but keep note that Ryan started out as lead vocals, then Brendon took over, that pretty much gave Brendon time to improve and he eventually overtook Ryan vocally. I remember seeing PATD live back in '06 and Brendon sounded like shit. But you don't need to be pounding on Ryan. He writes great songs and is probably a better singer than both of us

i think it's just that brendon's voice has a more unique sound and more emotions to it when he sings. i mean ryan's voice is nice too, but it doesn't seem to suit the whole song singing, i think ryan's sounds better when he's singing w/ brendon :] but ryan is a great song writer :D

some people here are so biased. sheep. anyway, i'm not going to say brendon or ryan's voices are better than the other....they're both great :) and i can't recall the beatles ever singing like brendon...which isn't to say that they weren't as good :) ryan's voice is amazingly great and fits so well for certain songs as well as brendon's for others

as a singer Brendon just has more of a natural talent and is more emotional where as Ryan is just Mr. Monotone. but, a better lyricist. or was...I'm just not catching vibes on The Young Veins II bet having no record deal right about now has got the boys thinking about their choices.
