  • Sometimes laughter is good medicine. Have been dealing with this for about a year and a half. I got a lot better than I was at first, but not totally back to normal. I guess this is about as good as it's gonna get for me. It kind of sucks, but there are a lot worse things to have than this. I can deal with it. I have to. Whatever happens, don't forget how to be happy and have fun.

  • I fully recovered in 4 weeks. Keep your chin up, it does get better. :0)

  • ahha elvis! :D

  • Hang in there. It's kind of scary at first. Bells Palsy gets better eventually. Glad you still have a sense of humor.

  • i dont really think this was funny

    but whatever

i am a girl who had BAD bellspausy

  • @Annoeatsgummiebears I'm sorry to hear that you have bad bell's palsy; recovery rates differ in each individual. I just thought that if I can't laugh at what life has to give me, I'd feel even worse.

  • Funny! Thanks for the laugh!

  • I wasn't infected with a virus, It was inflicted upon me through incompetence, a birth injury. I would have been better off if my mother given birth out in the middle of a field then a hospital.

Worse part is, adults and children behave like it's your fault, and if you tell kids how it happened then they turn it into a joke.

People are so screwed up. Never underestimate how retarded people can be.

  • THANK YOU ; /

  • I just got diagnosed 4 days ago and this made me feel a little better! Brought a "somewhat" smile to my face! Thanks.

  • Can they help you?! I just woke up a few hours ago and cant seem to move the right side of my face... i cant stop crying help me!

  • are there any other symptoms? like dizziness, vertigo . Do you have any same sided weakness also?

1 thing to realize is that bell's palsy is a symptom of something else, like a fever is a symptom of an infection.

talk to a doctor, preferably a neurologist or a eent, they'll give you ur options. hope you get better.

  • The only thing i can think of thats bothing me is a strange tingling at the right back side of my head, its really irritating, been happening for 3 days now, im going to see the doctor later today =*(

Compared to some people iv seen on their videos it aint as bad, but my face is kinda weak and slow but i can still move it quite abit.

  • that is how mine started,.....three years ago, tingling for a few days then numbness in my lip then the eye, then the rest of my face! and it still has not gone away, I hope you have better luck! Most people say they do not notice until I say something and give a huge smile to prove it, but it is my face so of coarse I know it is still not the same!

  • i know how you feel, i have had it for 5 years. I tried ACCUPUNCTURE which put my lips back in place and am able to close my eyes.but my smile is still not perfect and mekes me self concious to smile. There is also a herbal supplement for it online.

  • Just diagnosed - this video really made me feel better about the situation - Thanks and God Bless
