i live in suisun... and fairfield has rubbed of on suisun. both cites have become very run down and mismanaged. if you want to live somewhere live i would recommend vacaville just 15 mins. form fairfield.
My wife and I were LMFAO at this.....I have lived in FF all my life. Yea....when Travis Market, WonderWorld and the drive in were there, it was great. But now there is gang violence. Alot of it. Thank god we left FF and moved to upstate NY. Good riddance FF.
There is gangs in most towns and cities in California. Fairfield has built up and the population is over 100,000. I used to live in Niagara Falls, New York from 1970-73.
I lived in Fairfield for the better part of the 80s. I loved it - but that was a long time ago, I admit. What the hell's happened? Could you give a couple examples of why it's turned so bad? I haven't heard much --- I'd appreciate some info, I'm heading back to the Bay Area soon and I'm looking for somewhere to live. Thanks!
I couldn't agree with you more. I grew up there, and just recently got out. It was a nice town in the 80's, now it has all the problems of a big city with none of the benifits.

Fairfield is a very nice place. I grew up here. Pepperbellys use to be a movie theater and I hear some great classic bands play there now and then. Travis AFB is kind of an annoyance with all its aircraft noise. Gives a kind of apocolyptic ambiance to the place. I'll always remember growing up there, but I do not miss the place at all.
