every forkliftdriver has learned to drive backwards with an wide load (and other loads also (if you have to brake the load don't slip off your forks)) If you drive forwards you can't see people or other obstacles coming. that is asking for accidents

I work in the recycling industry as well in WA and this is nothing compared to the day to day operations of our forklift operators (slick concrete+solid no traction tires+containment berms+heavy unstable loads=lots of fun). My facility actually has areas where you can't help but lose control of our 8500+ pound lifts because of slick concrete and containment berms.

what u on about dreamer, crusty is write about the height, but diesels are the best, they are more powerfull and faster. Lekys and gas trucks are silly lil warehouse trucks and dont generally lift more than 3ton
