A lot of people, myself included, felt the same way that you do and flooded Congress with calls and e-mails demanding that they don't let Bush's rich friends off the hook. As a result, we've bought ourselves another three days. Power to the people! Especially to the poorer 99%.
I called my Congressional leaders, too, and told them pretty much the same as my vid. I hope they feel the pressure from their constituents. Maybe people have had enough.

I love Ralph Nader! Without him, those goofy Dems would probably be in power. I hate spoilers of any kind, but if they're going to exist, they might as well lean toward the batty left like Nader. McCain/Palin 2008!
McCain/Palen, Obama/Biden, they all work for the rich and powerful, whom you seem to think are in some way "blessed." All throughout history the rich and powerful have used God's name in vain to their own benefit. I see you are continuing that tradition. Good luck with that at the second coming.
This is a capitalist nation. What you don't seem to understand is that anyone can make it to the top through hard work and determination. The rich and powerful that you complain about had to work their way there. If people are tired of being at the bottom, maybe they should be a man and do something about it, hmm? Democrats, however, love welfare and want the government to take care of them hand and foot. This is why so many Americans are fat and lazy. Democrats spite the rich and powerful.
Name one self-made millionaire? What you fail to understand is that very few rich people actually earn their money, and the one's that do I have some respect for them. However, most inherited their money and have no appreciation for the work and effort it took to make it: eg. Bill Gates, Walton family, Kennedy's, Rockefellers, George W.. Rags to riches is a myth perpetuated by rich people to get you poor schmucks to defend rich people.
I am a Christian and so is my family. We have been Christians for generations and thank God every day for making us Americans. This is the best country in the world and you have no idea how lucky you are to be an American. There are many countries in this world who don't have the freedom or the privilege to complain about their governments as you so blatantly do. Our leaders truly have a thankless job. Bush and McCain are God fearing heroes who deserve our appreciation, support, and respect.
You are a Constantinian Christian if you support imperialist policies and imperialist presidents. All that means is Jesus was a prophet of God, anti-Roman and anti-imperialist. The Jews have a long history of anti-imperialism because it was imperialists-the Egyptians- who enslaved them. Every prophet in the Old Testament challenged imperial rulers who stole from their people. That you defend people who steal from poor people makes me think you're a Christian who doesn't know Jesus.
You said everything I was going to say! Why bail out these huge corporations, who made millions of dollors giving out horrible loans to anyone on the street? If this is a capitalism, let them go bankrupt! There is 700 billion other ways to spend $700 billion dollors, that can help everyone!! Why are we doubleing the deficit for this year, so some greedy people, can get richer?
I'm not even kidding though. You almost said exaclty what I wrote on some forum. Your a cool dude man. Keep speaking your opinion. It has an effect on the world!
so how much does 800billion break down to for the individual taxpayer?

Who would Jesus bomb?
Why would Jesus support imperialist presidents?
Do you even know what imperialism is?
Just take a look around you.
If you have ears, then hear me.

Word! For $700B, we could create a whole new economy. Why spend the money to bail out a few very bad businesses?
