@soksume Unfortunately to do this that means the board would be slowing down since it takes power to change the battery. This would defeat the purpose of coasting. You would only be able to be accelerating or decelerating with provides for a jerky ride. Also going down hills is really fun and if it charges the battery it means the boards wont go faster that the motor does. With the clutch there's no limit you could get going to speed upwards of 25 mph, now that's real fun!
