Fint nok, ok at have sin egen mening, lool.
I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keepsFuel injection and tank clean and rustfree
The tuning depents on what kind of power you are looking for. The easyest way to tune the car will be to put in a Peugeot 3,0 24 valve engine, the exhaust from the normel setup will fit perfectly. The intake will take some time to custom-build. If you realy want big power you car go to turbo setup. This is expensive and will require custom building. New forged rods, pistons, crank and a lot of other small bits and pieces. Megasquirt is a werry good manegement-system.
same engine as a Delorean (PRV6) but why cant a Delorean motor do this?... do u know Glen if the Delorean motor is tunable to something like this (or close?)

Just to think, back in 1982 there was one of these on a lot near McNair Kaserne in Hochst
(Frankfurt am Main) Germany! I used to walk by
it for months drooling, knowing I could never
take it back to the States! The most desirable
Renault in existence!
germancarguy7 3 years ago
@germancarguy7 They're actually a few A310 and GTA in the states. Actually there's a fan-club, with a few cars for sell from time to time.
Look for alpine a310 fan page, it should be the first link.

WOW! that's REALLY fast. The A310 is one of the most characteristic sportscars of the seventies; the French 911 so to speak.
