  • Hey i just noticed you mentioned XYLITOL, so youve done well in finding a better substitute. I think thats the scientific name/ingrediant in STEVIA, so youve already found a better substitute.Well done. It may be a little more expensive than sugar, but what price do we put on our health? If we eat sugar then we'll just need more money for hospital treatment, complications due to diebetes, etc, so really, buying a healthier option is an investmeant in our health. Well done + take care my friend.

  • @royalDJjamie

Hi, stevia is a different plant than xylitol, and I've never tried xylitol before, but i've heard that it doesn't have a bitter after taste like stevia (I've tried stevia before, it was ok) but I've heard that stevia is heavily refined.

    Thanks

  • @rstewarthome hello again my friend. You do seem to "hear" a lot of negative comments reguarding these foods. But in my experience i find its better to try things myself before coming to the conclusion something is no good. So my suggestion is, try different things, and see how it works for you. U never know, U might be pleasantly surprised +actually like it. I didnt know that Stevia was heavily refined, but isnt sugar as well? Im not sure, Maybe Stevia is the better of 2 evils.? Take Care - Jam

  • @royalDJjamie

    Hi!

I actually have tried stevia before lol, I got a very large amount...... I would use it in everything.... then I ran out and nobody in my family really liked it so we just got some agave and Erythritol, and played around with those... Yes, sugar is heavily refined, but you can buy organic unrefined sugar.. I still like the agave nectar better though =) thank you

  • You should be able to get Stevia in yr country, although it may have another name. Just google STEVIA and youll find a site that tells you all about it. Such as--w-w-w.naturallysweet-d-o-t-c-o-m-d-o-t-au

  • 2/3 cup of sugar? Wayyy too much sugar. Sugar is bad !!! Makes yu fat. Rots your teeth. Gives you Diebetes. Is it really necessary to use so much sugar? Cant you use a more healthy sugar substitute if its just for flavor/sweetness? If you think you need that much sugar because the lemons are bitter, then yr using the wrong lemons. Just get some lemons that arent so bitter. They do exsist. --So get sweeter lemons, use a natural sugar substitute for sweetening, and use NOOO Sugar!! So much better!

  • @royalDJjamie Hi, I haven't made this recipe for awhile..... and I'm a health nut so I haven't made it very often... (The last time I made it I wasn't that health concious) if I made it again I would probably use agave or xylitol... but nothing artificial, that's bad for you too... Thanks

  • @rstewarthome Is all good my friend. Yr recipe did look nice, and as im a diebetic, i have to "tweak" some recipes so they dont make me sick, so it was just a suggestion, that maybe you can still make it, but with using some other more natural sweetner, less harmful sweetner.Seriously sugar is poison. I found this sweetner in my search for a heatlier substitute. Its called --STEVIA. Its a 100% natural sweet herb, and totally better for you, and works ok in cooking, drinks, coffee, tea etc etc.

  • viva costco

  • thats right, women belong in the kitchen

  • sorry I lost the will to live halfway through this video, in fact, it just seemed easier to order a takeaway from our local chinese

  • @tangodancer1603

If you think this FOUR minute video is too complicated than you are really lazy. This recipe is MUCH tastier, cheaper, and healthier than take out lemon chicken.

  • @rstewarthome yeah, keep telling yourself this you come to believe it, and just for your info, I own a cafe, and yes I cook, all day long, luckily, I don't do boring

  • @rstewarthome how is this healthier?? its still deep fried with cornstarch!!!

  • @djirok My recipe is healthier because the chicken is pan fried not deep fried, when you deep fry you fill an entire pot with oil and cook the chicken in it. and when you do that the chicken gets covered in alot more oil than just pan frying, this makes it more unhealthy.

  • @rstewarthome i guess if you look at it that way!! fried to me is fried no matter how you do it!!! even a tea spoon of oil is bad for you!! but i guess i understand what u mean

  • @djirok

its not DEEP FRIED its pan fried learn the difference plus it is a Chicken Breast and not a chicken thigh

  • @blinko656 I did wash the chicken but I forgot to videotape it :( thanks

  • Thanks!! yes we shop at costco alot, we love costco too!

  • Wash your chicken. Wile it is still alive of course, they always run away from though..------Good vid..
