I felt like I had been in the ring with Tyson after this ride on Saturday past, when I got off everyone else was holding their heads. I had the worst migraine thanks to this ride alone. Intimidator 305 was the best though. A must ride.

Decent ride minus the head banging you get on it. But I think the first hill is a waste considering after the first loop and corkscrew theres brakes that bring you to like half the height stopped, the ride could go much longer if it weren't for this

i actually didn't have any 'head banging' issues with the hyper sonic. only problem i didn't like about that ride was that it was less than 30 seconds and wasn't even that much of a thrill. im glad they got rid of it.

You don't submerge in the sense that the coaster doesn't dive into the actual water, but you do go under the water line, so technically you do go underwater. The only part of you that would remain above the water line inside the tunnel (assuming you were 6 foot tall) is your forehead and up.

Just so you know, Anaconda was built by Arrow Dynamics and they were not known for building smooth coasters. I myself will be visiting KD for the first time next August or Sept and I'm looking forward to riding Dominator, Volcano, Intimidator 305 and all the others.

Thank you for posting a good video of this ride. I rode this thing three times (way back in '93) ... ON A REALLY BAD HANGOVER ... why? ... I haven;t got a clue but I'll not be doing that again! This ride didn't beat me up as much as that big backwards-riding wooden thing did! (but that was fun too)

the manufacturer of Rebel Yell (formerely backwards) recommended they stop making one side go backwards. Paramount used to service Rebel Yell themselves, but Cedar Fair outsources to the actual manufatures of the rides to do maintence on the rides. By the way, great video!

actually i thought that video was pretty well shot. you can expect it to be very shaky, since its an old ride and an Arrow Megalooper roller coaster. If they'd make better trains for Viper here at Six Flags magic Mountain I would certainly enjoy that ride as much as I used to. I'm 6 foot 3 so the the shoulder restraints crunch down on my shoulders and make the ride extremly uncomfortable.
