Watch the GSP Serra fight , pay attention to GSP's feet . He slipped and as his leg went out Serra took advantage and threw a punch hitting the top of Pierres head . At that point it was over , he never got his legs back . Those logos are slick . This is not an excuse , it is simply what happened . If Serra fights GSP 5 more times , he will lose 5 in a row . Serra did what he was supposed to , capitalize on anything you can , but it was a fluke !

This is just a fascinating fight. And one more won't do it justice. If GSP wins, we must have #3 to settle the score. If Serra wins again then GSP goes back to the drawing board yet again and builds the resume. Serra won a gold medal in jiu jitsu in the Pan American games. Keep in mind that he never even got to the mat with GSP, so Serra has hands and grappling. The guy is for real, but GSP is such an athlete and improving all the time. Fascinating fight.

Watch that fight again, and watch you gsp gets caught with an accidental strike to the back of the head. It's all downhill after. That's why that blow is illegal, because you can't recover from it. Big John didn't see it, and the fight went on, and it got ended. Gsp lost, and hopefully from now on he protects his head better and doesn't duck under overhand rights like that anymore, which he did a bit in the Kos fight.

Serra didn't relenquish the title, he is still considered the champion. An iterim title is made when there is a possibility that a champion will not defend his title within a reasonable amount of time (usually within a year) So that there is no lapse in a champion.

Watch the GSP Serra fight , pay attention to GSP's feet . He slipped and as his leg went out Serra took advantage and threw a punch hitting the top of Pierres head . At that point it was over , he never got his legs back . Those logos are slick . This is not an excuse , it is simply what happened . If Serra fights GSP 5 more times , he will lose 5 in a row . This is just a fascinating fight. And one more won't do it justice. If GSP wins, we must have #3 to settle the score. If Serra wins again then GSP goes back to the drawing board yet again and builds the resume. Serra won a gold medal in jiu jitsu in the Pan American games. Keep in mind that he never even got to the mat with GSP, so Serra has hands and grappling. The guy is for real, but GSP is such an athlete and improving all the time. Fascinating fight.

Watch that fight again, and watch you gsp gets caught with an accidental strike to the back of the head. It's all downhill after. That's why that blow is illegal, because you can't recover from it. Big John didn't see it, and the fight went on, and it got ended. Gsp lost, and hopefully from now on he protects his head better and doesn't duck under overhand rights like that anymore, which he did a bit in the Kos fight.

Serra didn't relenquish the title, he is still considered the champion. An iterim title is made when there is a possibility that a champion will not defend his title within a reasonable amount of time (usually within a year) So that there is no lapse in a champion.
