chemicals such as household ones are extremely toxic a cage should never be cleaned with windex. ..its not even a window...use a pet friendly cleaner non toxic such as natures miracale

How did you get your ferret's to poop in the litter thing? Mine only poop in corners..... lol.

@KittyBirdness cover up all the corners put his bed in one corner his food in another and watter in another then finaly the liter box in another one he wont have a choiece but to go in the litter box

@KittyBirdness you have to put the ferrets litter box in a corner mine did the same thing and i was wondering why he only pooped in the corner so i moved his litter box over to the corner and sure enough he started pooping in it.

I suggest buying the Ferret Penthouse for your ferrets.The bottom of the cage pulls out so it can be cleaned, it's pretty niffy. :) The only downside of the cage for me is the fact that the layers in it are plastic, so when your ferrets run up and down the cage it's really loud. Other than that, it's really really simple to clean~

Woooh your cage is alot easier to clean than mine! (i have a ferret nation too but my ferrets are a bit messier) One question. You dont use litter??

@iluvferrets95 No because it's a lot easier to clean up the newspapers. You just pick them up, clean underneath and ur good. Where-as sometimes the litter gets over the place, or they poop where there is no litter. This way it's okay if they don't hit the litter box.
