First of, he was NOT a huge mob boss and he was NOT gunned down in the back of a restaurant.
The daparted name was Nicolo' Rizzuto, Jr., age 42. He had no criminal record.
Despite that, he was know by local authorities as sort of the "legitimate" face of the Montreal based LCN Rizzuto crime family.
He was killed nearby the headquaters of a know mobbed-up white collar company.

'Ndrangheta did it. No other gang in Quebéc could afford a hge killing like this, not eve the Hells Angels. 'Ndrangheta (Calabrian Mafia) is massive in Canada, and Paul Violi, the Montréal Mob boss killed by the Rizzutos years back, was connected with the Calabrians...We jsu have to wait and see. It could also be somenthing within the family. A power struggle or somenthing.
