Just love the Fest/WHR. At Xmas managed to get to Harbour Station to see the new spur and golden bolts. Can't wait for the big ride to B,Fest. Thanks to everyone for bringing these lovely railways back to grace the community and scenery.
No, the servo which controls the throttle (rewuire for the deadman's system) had rattled itself loose, so it was confsuing the complicated electronics. But obviously the priority was to get it across town.
Poor old Criccieth! She didn't sound well at all. Still, I know a man who is very good at fixing diesel engines. He worked wonders with a certain little Ruston loco' recently!
Good movie

Has Criccieth got fuel problems? It sounds as though it's on the verge of running out of fuel.

Brilliant to see. I like Criccieth's impression of a Class 37 with those thrashy clag plumes. Possibly a little on the poorly side though?

Probably not, the last thing I heared was that it's in the electronics!!!!!!!! That Richard would totally trash it!

For all who want to know, it's probably the throttle potentionate control that's gone wrong hence glitching on the throttle valve.

Looks like the pilotman for the trip over Network Rail metals did not manage to get off until the train reached Harbour station.

It was working fine last Sunday, it will be repaired but when this video was taken the priority was to get it through the town.

That is a relief.

Wow, Cric sounded truly awful, I hope the WHR dosn't treat all locos like that
But otherwise fantastic video of a historic occasion. Thanks for getting it on video

The diesel only sound bad because the WHR broke it, normally it gives a healthy roar.

History in the making indeed. Can't wait to see more scenes like this later in the year...
