@plangentmusic I prefer Adrian's guitar work and prefer when he does the solos that he originally played (as opposed to Janick ripping through them w/o Adrian's knack for melody), but I also enjoy that with Janick in the mix many of the songs can sound like they did in the studio, e.g., Revelations has the lead parts in the intro, and The Trooper has the third guitar harmony, etc.

@windk100 Good points.  But I think for the slight advantage he winds up mucking up too much of the the overall sound. And I just hate his stage presence. The other guys are cool. He looks like a poser. Also, it isn;t 3 part harmony in The Trooper. It's one rhythm part and the melody in octaves. Hell, a simple pedal can solve that problem.
