Have an HTC wildfire, SERIOUSLY considering switching from android to windows phone 7.

A bigger screen, good quality interface, and a qwerty keyboard(I prefer physical keyboards to touchscreen ones).

The only downside I see is that I don't have an XBOX live account because I don't have an XBOX 360, so the Games/XBOX live icon will be pretty useless.

Might get this phone, just need to see about the apps though. 8Gb is a pretty decent amount of memory.

ok so WP7 now is apart of the CDMA carriers Verizon and US Cellular, but WHY NOT METROPCS!?!? I hope they get one soon cuz they are my provider, and I really don't want to switch over to an Android phone if I don't have to seeing as that is the only smartphone OS they provide (excluding the Samsung Code and Blackberry). I have been keeping my eye on WP7 for a while and I think it would really help MetroPCS become more popular if they had more of a variety of phones to choose from :P

This is a very nice phone, HTC is my fav brand of phones. Though I am dissappointed that this phone doesn't accept external memory, as I suspect, putting music, your apps and even movies may eat up the memory, the option for extra memory would have been a nice touch. Though this phone is nice, I wouldn't consider is as I'm not a big fan of windows, prefer Android. But I look forward to HTC making more TOUCH/QWERTY phones as I prefer these type of phones.

Wow, I've waited months for this phone to debut. It's a nice phone, but not nice enough for me to want to upgrade from my Touch Pro 2. Disappointing that it does'nt accept external memory also, 8GB is'nt enough.

Only had the HTC Pro 7 for a day now, like it keyboard seems a bit flippsy don't think it would take abuse. We will see. The keyboard seems nice to use, I love the interface very slick and quick to respond. Nice screen big enough especially on landscape. Having trouble setting WiFi as I have MAC Fitler on my router and your can't get it from Windows Mobile 7 (major flaw) hope M$ make an update soon.

@bekiieeDarlinn the hd7 has a much wider display of 4.3 inches! and this has a 3.6? this is still good, id go with the pro 7, it was released later from the hd7 and has an upgraded software, even though there wasn't a lot to upgrade, just a glimpse of more software.
