I actually loved this cartoon and watched it every saturday morning on WB Kids... the problem is after it stopped appearing there, I learned the entire MMX storyline, and by extension, some of the original MM storyline, then realized this cartoon was indeed shit =D

Kind of like going back to Speed Racer. You go "ah... I loved this stuff", but you realize it was in general, poorly made =D. SR didn't have pre-built storylines to go on though; MM did, so I'm harder on MM ^^

The animation wasn't that bad, when you remember the standard for back then, and there's this thing called artistic license that allows them to do whatever the hell they want because it's their cartoon. Capcom let them do whatever, so they did. And Speed Racer was made in what, the 60's? cut it some slack.

Well it could be one of those special types... Dealing elemental damage but being physical. I failed to understand how a flaming punch had NOTHING to do with their physical defenses though. I mean sure if you're a plant it'll burn, but an icey punch against an 8 foot tall Rydon should block SOME of the damage of the physical punching motion...

Going by Pokemon rules, Pharaohman is a steel type, which means he takes 2x the damage from fighting type moves, and counter deals back 2x the damage taken. Therefore, Pharaohman took 4x the damage that he dealt to megaman, and thus flew so far away.

Actually, it would just be 2x damage. For moves like counter and Mirror Coat, weakness and resistance aren't applied. Immunities are applied though, such as Counter not working against Ghost types, and Mirror Coat not working on Dark types.

Well, I'm pretty sure Smogon would know about this already. They're pretty on the ball with this kind of stuff. While Sableye and Spiritomb are pretty good ways to annoy Wobbuffet trainers, they're not exactly the strongest Pokemon around. As much as I love Sableye, he just can't hang with the tougher crowd, ya know? Spiritomb is pretty decent though.

But hey, still fun as hell to piss off Wobbuffet trainers! Just watch out for that Destiny Bond!
