If my frontman attacked me with a plastic sword while I was playing guitar, I probably would be on the floor laughing rather than continuing to play. Mind you I can't play guitar anyway, but... I think Cedric is the frontman of our generation.
I wasn't talking about his age -- I was referring to his music, which exists in our generation's pop lexicon. He could be 70, he's still making music that OUR generation listens to... don't take it so literally.
I was at this show and it was AMAZING! The reason that he is wearing that sweater and that big glove is because someone threw them up on the stage and Cedric, being the incredible performer that he is, used it. Perfect blend of music and entertainment. The audience really felt like a part of the show.
