He and the teacher was on Ellen Degeneres today. They gave him a large sum of money and helped the teacher with 26 laptops...he was so cool to watch. WoW what an awesome story!

Seeing this man's little white board writing "I think anyone can learn to read if they wented to By Alferd" and him reading that book, is touching. He promised his mother he would learn to read decades ago, and now he's fulfilling that promise.

we take those things for granted... like reading and writing. He has been working his whole life. He is a hard worker. This is amazingly touching and inspirational. I wish him the best of luck. what a great blessing he is to so many children! :)

Wow, Thats such a great inspiration. And he was a Share Cropers son too, theres a good song called, "Lord have mercy on the share cropers son."
