  • Have you ever steamed it ? I wouldn't want to loose all the nutrience from boiling it or putting it in the microwave.

  • interesting. over here, we have a "shark's fin melon" which supposedly cooks up to something reminiscent of shark's fin

  • say hi to Noprohero for me ok?

  • @Neji56565 Done! He says thanks for remembering him.

  • @Neji56565 youtube.com/watch?v=KxhzsPJM48o This all that is left of NoProHer0 =(

  • Awesome! Thanks for showing us how that works.

  • Can you eat it raw?

  • @eatingvegan1234 I had an earlier question about that, and while you can, I can't imagine it to be very pleasant. Very crisp and hard. Probably not the news you were hoping to hear. Thanks for your question.

  • Thank you for posting. I've always microwaved them, but I do not like to cook too much in there. I'd rather boil, roast or if possible eat raw veggies and fruits. Thanks again.

  • Yummi, looks tasty, must try to do this one day:) Thanks ♫♪♫

  • my mom got me hooked on spaghetti squash when i was a kid! great stuff!!!

  • Wow I never knew this squash existed. You could do so many things with this. I even think with a little imagination you could make a cold salad or something similar.

  • Love this! I was just ordering my seeds for this year and was having a hard time deciding on a winter squash. This is the one I went with. It looks wonderful!

  • I just shared this video on my facebook page. Thanks for demystifying how to use spaghetti squash!! You've inspired me to plant some this year.

  • My jaw dropped when I saw how appetizing this looks. Great video! :)

  • Once again you pull off an absolutely great video. Thanks for taking the time out of your day to film, edit and upload so others can enjoy.

    Mark

  • That looks so good.. Is it edible raw?

  • @scumbubbles1 I'm sure it's edible, but I can't imagine in any way how it could be pleasant. It won't fall into strands until it get's cook, so it would hard or crunchy. It would be edible like banana squash or pumpkin would be edible. Thanks for watching.

  • Amazing, thank you!

  • @BlueSkies360 Glad you enjoyed it. Tell your friends!

  • I have never tried this before, I just might have to now. Thanks!

  • @loislaney23 That's part of the idea here...opening new horizons for all my loyal subscribers and friends. Thanks for watching.

  • @YourProduceGuy Oh not at all! I was just commenting on how you've been warning they could explode. It's just make you look more daring in some sort of way. Gonna try this squash at some point though

  • @CloudCereal553 Okay. You had me worried there. That would have been the first apple pie fire I'd have heard about. Yes, it does seem rather daring, doesn't it? Just goes to show you the hazards that YourProduceGuy is willing to brave in order to bring you the best flavors available out there. Thank you so much for pointing that out!

  • I only knew how to bake it. Boiling it looks so much easier not having to cut in up before cooking.

  • @aRawLifestyle Yes, very easy other than having to handle it when it's hot. Just manage that hazard and you're on Easy Street!

  • I how lately you've been telling us how to create combustible meals. *I tried the paper bag apple pie.*

  • @CloudCereal553 Did your bag catch on fire?

  • Looks good!

  • @dave11686 Thank you for the feedback. And thanks for watching!

  • mmm that looks fantastic!!

  • @thefallfever Thanks for watching.

  • My wife makes a lasagna with spaghetti squash. She makes it just like normal but uses spaghetti squash in the place on Lasagna noodles. It's wonderful!

  • @gizmotwadlebutt That is a fantastic idea! Score one for your wife. I will have to try that soon.

  • Never seen this one either! Very cool!

  • @rachiibuu Thanks for watching. I hope there is always a reward with some new tip, information or great recipe that I'm bringing to viewers. Glad you enjoyed it.

  • I literally have 26 of these sitting here from our garden and didn't know what to do with them... LOL!! Thanks to you, I know what I'm making for dinner!!

  • @kastnmagic That's awesome! We should make a video with them, "26 days around the Squash" or how about "Pasta is your past...Squash is your future! At least for the next 26 days." That's about the best I can do on short notice. You will love them!

  • I was JUST wondering how to do this. Thanks!

  • @faithm Timing is EVERYTHING...isn't it? Thanks for watching.
