@eatingvegan1234 I had an earlier question about that, and while you can, I can't imagine it to be very pleasant. Very crisp and hard. Probably not the news you were hoping to hear. Thanks for your question.
Thank you for posting. I've always microwaved them, but I do not like to cook too much in there. I'd rather boil, roast or if possible eat raw veggies and fruits. Thanks again.
Wow I never knew this squash existed. You could do so many things with this. I even think with a little imagination you could make a cold salad or something similar.
Love this! I was just ordering my seeds for this year and was having a hard time deciding on a winter squash. This is the one I went with. It looks wonderful!
@scumbubbles1 I'm sure it's edible, but I can't imagine in any way how it could be pleasant. It won't fall into strands until it get's cook, so it would hard or crunchy. It would be edible like banana squash or pumpkin would be edible. Thanks for watching.
@YourProduceGuy Oh not at all! I was just commenting on how you've been warning they could explode. It's just make you look more daring in some sort of way. Gonna try this squash at some point though
@CloudCereal553 Okay. You had me worried there. That would have been the first apple pie fire I'd have heard about. Yes, it does seem rather daring, doesn't it? Just goes to show you the hazards that YourProduceGuy is willing to brave in order to bring you the best flavors available out there. Thank you so much for pointing that out!
My wife makes a lasagna with spaghetti squash. She makes it just like normal but uses spaghetti squash in the place on Lasagna noodles. It's wonderful!
@rachiibuu Thanks for watching. I hope there is always a reward with some new tip, information or great recipe that I'm bringing to viewers. Glad you enjoyed it.
I literally have 26 of these sitting here from our garden and didn't know what to do with them... LOL!! Thanks to you, I know what I'm making for dinner!!
@kastnmagic That's awesome! We should make a video with them, "26 days around the Squash" or how about "Pasta is your past...Squash is your future! At least for the next 26 days." That's about the best I can do on short notice. You will love them!
Have you ever steamed it ? I wouldn't want to loose all the nutrience from boiling it or putting it in the microwave.

I only knew how to bake it. Boiling it looks so much easier not having to cut in up before cooking.
aRawLifestyle 1 month ago
@aRawLifestyle Yes, very easy other than having to handle it when it's hot. Just manage that hazard and you're on Easy Street!
