  • wonderful, i did this every day of my life

  • this is one of the things that made "Inferno" scary for me as a child. Even now i find it quite unsettling.

  • this stuff is intense. really isolated, atomspheric stuff. kinda like been trapped in a room with no means of escape.

  • Remarkable. I must have been living under a rock because until today, I had never heard of this woman. Stockhausen, Oram...and now Derbyshire. I'm glad I have another one on the list I consider true innovators of sound.

  • I am speechless...

  • It was her all along. All those years listening to admirable radio shows like "Hearts of Space" and "Echoes" and downloading "deep space" streams ...always an itch in the back of my mind, like they hadn't quite gotten it right.yet.Yet. I should have said - "since". Delia Derbeshire found the sustained tension.required to evoke the profound without becomeing saccharine. She creates a sonic dreamworld without Rainbows and Unicorns. She harmonizes the comfort of the womb with dread of mortality

  • Could Mme Derbyshire dance ? If so she were top of the list for when I built a Tardis .

  • this is creaply [if thats even a word] good

  • Nice oldschool ambient.

  • This piece is absolutely marvellous ! What a great artist !

  • I find this strangely relaxing.

  • This woman is on my level. Now only if I can find my own Delia Derbyshire out there...

  • Her music is the main reason i was scared of Inferno from the 70s!

  • TIMELESS

  • This is magnificent. Nothing quite moves me the way Delia's compositions do.
