Death Note is probally one of the best 00's anime out there. I find Naruto and Bleach to be okay, but it just doesn't feel all that great compared to the classic ones. The only new anime series I can place in the classic places like Yu Yu Hakusho, or Dragon Ball is this and One Piece (If you've only seen it on Toonami, don't talk because you have only seen the 4kids dub)

It's actually a moving ending. I don't think I've ever cried at a movie since The Passion, but this was so sad. I actually prefer this ending than the actual Death Note ending. L should have lived to see Light die like the rotten animal he was and then died a peaceful death if he really had to die. L is truly one of anime's greatest characters ever.
