You can try CSS3, it works althow with CSS 2.1 but its HARD cause you move realy SINGLE pixels.

HTML 5 and CSS 3 - or you need Photoshop.

Dont use Photoshop to slice your website with. And dont use to many images to create your website layout. because your website will load very slow.

It is a very good tutorial about how to design a site. But the explanation is too fast. Search engines like Google cache text rather than images that are fast and your site will index ASAP. Design your site using text as much as possible and not images. Thanks for the information.

its better if you know it. with photoshop you can save your website directly as html. however, the code can be very shitty messy (but the site works).

And with photoshop alone you can really do much. I mean, if you want to edit te site, you have to basically edit and clean the code that photoshop made.

Then try to convert the psd into xhtml!

there is no C, C++ or any other platform based language in webdesign (exept one).

It's HTML, PHP, JS, CSS, MySQL, eventually Java, Flash, Silverlight, ASP, XML, ...

Photoshop and other skillz ...

You don't need to study, but you should. There are programs taht do some cool stuff on there own. But good websites are still made by professionals and not by a amateur with expressions studio or something.

he is using photoshop and dreamweaver.. he should be mainly using dreamweaver for everything design etc. photoshop for images and falsh for headers etc.
