The thing with the lyrics to this song though is to todays standards they are super good, but compared to the era they were in, they were very medicore, they just don't compare to stuff like Pete Rock and CL Smooth, Big Daddy Kane and early Nas, and stuff of the like, that stuff was just absolutely insane.
