  • Awesome stuff!

  • collingwood pies !

  • AFL looks prety hectic haha.

  • And Yanks think their football is rough

  • @slapshot37GNR rugby is a real sport this is shit

  • @7dayspking Eh...I do love Rugby. I just watched this cause of International Rules Football. That shit's intense...

  • my local team is betta then these international cunts. good on em though 4 giving aussie rules a shot.

  • its just like scrag we play this when we are school kids mate. then we upgrade to rugby :)

  • @NZARMY16 i agree

  • AFL MORE LIKE GAYFL

  • Good to see Australia's Great Game being played hard by others. Excellent vid!!

  • WOW! AFL certainly is rocking internationally! What a great game. NOT!

  • lmfao, what is this queer shit...omg they would never survive in american football, i mean seriously. this is the best they have. i feel sorry for aussies if this is all they have to enternain them.

  • @trampledone Who wears pads? Take them off and then play. Pads are for girls mate, please stick to your country where pads are accepted.

  • @trampledone Watch real afl, read the discription you dick this is international not australia.

  • @freethebe i dont care what league it is, to me rugby is rugby and it sux.

  • @trampledone it isn't even rugby...

  • @trampledone haha we all know america only plays 3 sports so go fuk urself.all these other countries as well as nz and aus play more than the 3 sports that the us play and u know i m tlking bout bball,af, and baseball lol like the americans only care about their own sports so fuck off and stop caring wat the rest of the world does u fuking american

  • @jmanistheman12345678 3 sports lol, u wish...football, basketball, baseball, hockey, golf, and soccer plus others that dont matter. american football is by far the greatest sport on earth and rugby will always just be a second hand sport that we dont care about, like soccer.

  • @trampledone This is not rugby hahaha. Check out australian rules football (AFL). entirely different game....

  • @freethebe looks exactly the same.

  • @trampledone okay first of all, these players are amateurs, secondly this is tournament held every year where teams from all over the world (including the US) send teams here to play AFL against each other for the International Cup.

  • @trampledone this is interational this is not local footy local teams are better than this guys

  • They should change the 'No Pads' to 'No Brains' in the title.

  • wow, this sport really requires no thought at all! thanks for the video, all learnt all i needed.

  • I never saw anyone get back up haha. This game seems to be mostly athletic skill with minimal talent necessary

  • Comment removed

  • @BoggleDongMongerFlog You are watching international football. The players are of very low standard compared to the afl. Most australian local clubs are better than these teams. Watch some real afl and you will find its extremely skillfull and athletic. Trying to pinpoint pass and odly shapped ball 50m isnt easy. The game is SO quick now it takes a lot of talent.

  • Its a scrappy fumbling mess with no strategy

  • This is cool, like watching country footy.

  • Why do people always have to compare sports together? Honestly... AFL and NFL are nothing alike! So why would you even bother making a comparison about them?

  • could i just mention AFL is a competition the game is called Australian Rules Football. Sorry to be pedantic but I hate that.

  • Now I get it, If a sport has more deaths that makes that football code better?? WTF stop arguing over stupid shit and just enjoy the game for what it is, fucken retards.

  • @zxkuta

No, you don't get it, idiot. The reason they are mentioning players getting killed in football in the past is to explain to you AFL assholes why we have to wear the padding today that you think it's "for pussies."

  • @richard1972r settle down tosser, your carrying on like i just murdered your whole family! I simply was commenting on everyones comments. (my dads tuffer than your dad, comments.) Go drop some valium for fuck sake, or get a load off! fuck.

  • @zxkuta

And I was simply commenting on yours (so your game is cool for having more deaths?). Don't make moronic replies if you don't like negative feedback, dipshit. Especially when you don't even have a clue what people meant. Take that valium and shove it right up your ass.

  • @richard1972r you got serious mental issues! settle down a bit, stop trying to intimidate me with your aggressive name calling. its fucking childish,

  • @zxkuta

I think it's funny how in your first comment you called people "fucken retards", now you cry like a little cunt how name calling it's fucking childish when its turned on you. I'll stop trying to intimidate if you stop talking through your dumb ass.

    Deal?

  • @richard1972r a litlle different to single out a single person and attack them (as you have done). Far more personal! I never singled out anybody, that would actually be aggressive and personal. NOW FUCK OFF RETARD.

  • @zxkuta

Name calling is name calling whether it's done in general or singled out, you hair-splitting lameass. If you don't like personal aggressive attacks, then stick to "Dear abby" letters to voice your dumbass comments and stay off youtube, crybitch.

  • the reason we wear padding is because before it was mandated the game averaged 38 deaths a year, so president Roosevelt threatened to abolish the sport if safety precautions were not taken. this is because the way that our football flows allows for much harder hits as recievers are often left sitting ducks after a catch (because they have their heads turned around to see the ball coming) and do not see the defenders in front of them.

  • @FATMUSICGUY i agree but to be hounest that was a soft call by the president in NSW (Australia) we have had 62 deaths in Rugby union this year in the u19s which is pretty scary for me now cuz i play in U19s 2 but most of them are from internal bleeding in the chest area which probably means if the dumb fucks went to hospital instead of watching the game they wouldn't be dead but nfl is brutal because you get hit from the side and back everyone but rugby has hardest head on tackles

  • "before you point the finger you should know that im the man"

@1:30 old school hip'n'shoulder. Love it

  • "before you point the finger you should know that im the man"

  • Its mainly black people making the highlights, what else is new?

  • @GiggleEKUL It's because they are from the islands surrounding Australia, so they have a much greater exposure to the game making them better at it.

  • Best sport, best band. What a combo!

  • Good hard footy . . .missing the ALF season watching this in the middle of summer!

  • local level footy is to scrappy and thuggish, afl is better to watch

  • eh aussie afl is the best we rock at afl

  • Credit to the uploader, would've taken some effort to put together, nice vid

  • Come impressive players, some time soon the next AFL superstar will come from beyond Australian shores.

  • what the fuck is up with this sport...its fucked up...i wish they had this in america, i play soccer, only because i hate wearing all those pads...this sport looks like soccer and american football mixed...awesome.

  • @DesertSmeagle hah, yeah you should see the pros get serious . then you'll know how tough these guys are. but they are not just hard at it and strong they have such skills and ball co-organisation. im not trying to talk up this game and say its the best but i love it

  • @bradleyssj2 ya,ive been watchin videos about this. It looks like it involves so much more athleticism than american football, even for the big guys. Thats why i played soccer, im a big guy and athletic. If i played football, they would have wasted me by putting my on the line with all the other big guys. With this AFL, it seems the big guys can run around and destroy people.

  • @DesertSmeagle yeahh the big guys are so much more than just big , they are so athletic ! but yeah appreciate how you notice AFL

  • @DesertSmeagle bottom line with AFL is it doesn't matter how big or small you are there is positions on the field for every body type. Of course you are not tied down to those positions like you would be in American football because if you are skilled enough and have the fitness/speed/agility you can play all over the ground as a big guy. One thing all AFL players need though is ball handling skills, being able to kick both feet for example.

  • @taipan185 that is so awesome. thats why i played soccer instead of football here in america. They would have just put me on the line. With soccer i played GK as my main position. I could kick the ball really hard with both feet, and when i wasnt in the goal, my coach would put me in the middle of the feild so i could destroy people. I remember kicking the ball at the same time another player was kicking it, and he flipped over and i kicked the ball. and as GK i could take people out.

  • great video mate, opened my eyes up to international players thats for sure

  • I swear if you guys are going to tease the shit out of this sport, why the fuck are you here. Are you guys here JUST TO TEASE IT? You little trouble makers thinking your sport is better. Go say that, on your OWN video. Fuck off rugby players, fuck off gridiron players, and fuck off any other people who think this sport is nothing but bull shit because guess what mates, it's not.

  • @zephranna01 ur a fucking idiot rugby players are bitchesafl players can play rugby but rugby players cant play afl there to stupid u dopy cunt go on go see hardest hits of afl then compare it to rugby i afl u get fucked up and u if u dont like afl dont watch afl videos u coon

  • dimitri0809 afl players have the biggest balls in the game nfl are bitches rugby players are to tupid to run around the other players so they run in a straight line......soccer players, dont even get me started fuckin pussys soccers not even football. nfl is not the ultimate in football its big black faggots running around in pads thinking there stop shit and in real football they couldent handle shit fuckin bitches ultimate in football bullshit

  • For fuck sake people! Gridiron is the ultimate in football, You guy's just go ahead and play with out any pads and see how dumb you guy's are..

  • @Dimitri0809 shutup dimitri... grow some balls and take a hit that u can actual feel

  • Any sport that doesn't involve trying to hurt somone else is pretty homo.

  • Hey look it's seagulls fighting over a chip

  • @atown327 trust me mate it is :D

  • Aussie Rules? more like no rules xD

  • I've played Aussie Rules my whole life and have now moved overseas where I have picked up rugby for the first time, so I think I'm qualified to make an impartial judgment. Frequency of hits in rugby is much much higher, but almost always come from your field of vision. In Aussie Rules the hits are less constant and can come from anywhere. Neither game is "tougher" or "harder", they're just different.

  • @MultiRoydon ......nice sensible comment ! 'onya

  • @MultiRoydon im a huge afl fan and i still think your 100% correct...well said.

  • AFL is a very physical sport, and playing AF myself for about 3 years now I would say that AF is way more physical than any form of rugby, but not this. This is AF, without the pads. Me likey

  • @jackobendo1 how the fuck is AF more physical than rugby there is a tackle every 3 seconds and at least 3 big hits your lucky if you get 3 hits a season AF is dogshit

  • @runwendyrun1 yeah, pussy wrap tackles. You see, this is hwere you not knowing anything about Af comes into play. BLOCKING, HITTING BLOCKERS AND HITTING THE BALL CARRIER. all three count as hits, and you hit abour 3 people as hard as you can each play, wheras in rugby you can only hit the ball carrier, AF is way tougher than rugby mate, wtf are you on about

  • hahahaaaaa pussys. they hit themselves like little girls xD fuck off rugby bitches. go play football its harder

  • dont these guys at least where mouth gaurds?

  • @Skatermonkey5 some do.

  • didnt know AFL had big hits? you must be confusing it with rugby league champ....

  • @lenix2034 nah, Its AFL, sorry champ...

  • big hits my ASS .. Watch NRL for big hits... Not this aerial ping pong crap. WTF is a "melee"??? A: six afl players slapping at each other(no-one ever lands a blow) saying... "aww, stop it" "no u stop it" "ummah I'm dobbing"..... Result=........ Ball up...(balls up)good game anyway.

  • @Tiga6210 Lol these are players from Tonga and the US playing...

  • I don't want to be rude but WTF is this shit doing turning up in a search of "nrl"?????

  • NFL = Direct Impact

    AFL = Bringing them down

If NFL didn't have pads, people would probably be dying if they tackled the same way they do currently.

  • @stoopkid80 ... watch Rugby League.

  • @stoopkid80

load of bollocks. in Rugby league they have Direct impacts.

    /watch?v=yw3XO6zAN9I

no one has ever died in a game of RUGBY.

  • @BKsMassive Rugby is a hard hitting game but they have direct impacts to tire down the opponents defense if AFL had to do that there'd be way more knock outs and concussions.

  • @stoopkid80 that's why they tackle the way they do in NFL, cos they know the pading will protect them, if they had padding in AFL they would tackle the way they do in NFL

  • @stoopkid80 the reason that american football players wear pads is cuz people were dying...i play american football btw

  • @stoopkid80 no they wouldn't :P it's not really hard its just they have pads and helmets so it seems hard

  • @stoopkid80 in nfl u only gota be aware of contact mainly from the front

afl is 360 degrees....u can be tackled from any direction so u gota be more aware

  • @stoopkid80 but if they didnt have padding they wouldnt attack the play with same force and conviction from fear of being hurt

  • @stoopkid80 You've never seen a shirtfront then I guess? Direct contact, no pads.

  • @stoopkid80 hahahahahaha no. the things you americans call tackles are nothing more than bumps.

  • @stoopkid80 the funny thing is, THEY DO HAVE PADS, thats like saying if video games were real then when you shoot someone in cod they would die........AFL makes NFL piss

  • @stoopkid80 Nah, you'd just harden up.

  • Saying no pads like it makes you look tough, sorry american boys like their brains.

  • thats gotta be the gayest afl vid ive ever seen, you see better hits in one game

  • .... (continued) can we just agree that both games are unique and require there own strengths and different physical demands? that doesnt mean either sport is worse simply as they ask different attributes from their players. I enjoy watching NFL a lot and ive actually got a few bets on this weekends action. Im a steelers man and heres hoping they have a better year than last and get up and about like 08. heres also hoping that collingwood lose the grand final replay this saturday.

  • @sirSPARRAofBRIDGY

Sparra... Steelers are going deep into the playoffs this year. I'm a Chargers man, but the Steelers kill them all the time. Cant help it tho, I was born in San Diego, not Pittsburgh.

As for the AFL, I know it's way different. I've been watching a few games myself and have been impressed by Collingwood. Youtube is a smart one on you guys by exposing us to your game more than espn can. Good luck with the bets too

  • @texfan999 and @raisin212k i have had quite a bit of back and forth with both you over the last day or 2. im just sick of people from overseas bagging out our game BUT ive just noticed this video is a response to an NFL vid so i can understand your right to defend your game aswell. we love AFL here, its a fantastic game to watch and follow and from what you guys have said you obviously watch a bit of it in the states aswell so you must enjoy watching at least a little bit.....

  • what is the big deal?? AFL = No pads because the objective is to go for the ball - nothing to do with how strong they are. NFL = pads because the objective is to go for the man, some positions are solely dedicated to this and have no intention to get the ball - again, nothing to do with how strong they are.

Both sports are great in their own right and both take a lot of talent. I'm also pretty sure that these two sports have the two biggest average crowds per game.

  • no pads because there small, weak and skinny and cant hit hard enough for pads to be needed, nfl players are real athletes that hit up to 4000 plus pounds of force and there faster, much much stronger, more explosive and way more powerful then these small dudes

  • @texfan999 they are tested for grip strength and 1rm bench press. Doing 50 reps doesn't help you run 15km. So you can't say NFL players are more advanced in strength than afl players are in aerobic strength. Because clearly NFL players have no training for it.

  • @nabilion areobic strength wtf so just running has nothing to do with strength and not all of them can run further but pretty much all of them are way way way stronger and faster get over it

  • @TheMilfhunter301 At least afl players do strength training. NFL players don't do any aerobic training at all. running 40m fast once doesn't mean he can do it 5 seconds later. It takes 3 months to put on 10-20 kilos to match the strength of nfl players. However it would take NFL players 3 years to build up their cardio base as well as melting their bulk whilst retaining muscular strength at the same time.

  • @nabilion you got no idea u dumb australian fool ive proved that nfl players are better at pretty much everything and no afl players cant all bench 325 hardley and of them can the record is frasier gerhig who did about 162 kg u stupid prick so dont talk shit and that still aint nearly as close as most nfl players there not as strong, not as fast and not better than afl players at anything, the afl is weak as piss get over it and yeah bruce lee is a skinny kid a guy like gsp would kick his ass

  • @nabilion no it wouldnt idiot they dont do it once u know nothing there stronger, faster and better at everything u have proved nothing at all u keep talking shit just accept it afl players are weak as piss they can hardly bench or squat a respectable amout coz there weak as piss and skinny and many times ive asked u to get a afl player who can match a guy like vernin but u cant so what the fuck u got nothing there shit athletes get used to it

  • @texfan999 See you are clearly dumb and in a sense of denial. When you keep saying the same things without any substance. You also don't know how to rebutt. the average weight of afl players is 88 kilos they are required to bench press 1.66x their own body weight that is 325 pounds. You say they aren't better in anything but i clearly said they don't have anything on them in aerobic capacity. This is serious can't you read properly? Bruce Lee is a skinny kid? Seriously you need mental help.

  • @nabilion hes ripped but he is skinny u dumbass hes not a big guy u fuken idiot any mma fighter would probly kick his ass if u think hes big uve got problems but i guess everybody in australia is pretty small so u think everybody is big and i say the same thing what the fuk have u been saying areobic thats all u got and its not entirley true youve got no proof and ive proved everything ive said that there way way stronger, faster, more powerful and way more explosive so your a idiot

  • @texfan999 Read what you have writing. NFL players can lift and squat and run 100m in 10-11 seconds. Logically do you think they can do that 80 mins into an afl game? Because at least i have mentioned afl players trying to do strength work. That means they have some development. You have failed to mentioned any sort of aerobic training nfl players do. They are closer to nfl players in strength than nfl players are in aerobic ability.

  • @nabilion you fuken dumb prick, coaches make the players train like crazy they have do to sprints for hours in the heat with the padding on untill they throw up or faint, they are made to do burpees in the heat and do sprints up the stadium stairs, they have to train like damn animal they train way harder than afl players all they do is run wtf is that, its fukall compared to what nfl players go throw and it takes incredible mental strength because its so damn competitive u have prooven nothing

  • @texfan999 wow your comprehension skills are horrible. Didn't I say AFL players do anaerobic, aerobic and strength training? They do sprints as well as long distance running on different terrain (beaches, mountains) and sessions in the gym. That is not all they do swimming, altitude training, squats over 150m field.

  • @texfan999 Taking a lot of mental strength? Even though a qb who is in the middle of a tackle has the knowledge he can just hold the ball in and have another go at throwing. Whilst in afl if you don't get your handball out properly whilst you get tackled its a free kick to the opposition team. Shit qb's must have minds of steel to get through that ordeal.

  • @texfan999 If you knew anything about physics is that a player of riewoldt's size can tackle and take down davis. FACT you can't dispute physics. Also you can't dispute Riewoldt outrunning davis. Where is davis' training to match him? Also you can get the sunday times of the internet dumbass. You realize that you can buy articles of the internet. There you will find your proof afl players can bench 325 pounds.

  • @nabilion and stop avoiding my question of finding a afl player who can match vernon if u cant admit it, say i cant find anybody who is as good an athlete who is as strong, as fast as powerful or as explosive admit it and stop avoiding it and ove again most afl players cant bench 325 u cant prrove they can either thats y ur saying read the sunday times...WHERE The FUCK am i going to get a copy of the suday times dumbass

  • @texfan999 you continue to show your lack of education time and time again, but now i can see why your so avid that NFL players are better athletes than their AFL counterparts. your ignorance has proven to be a disability, as you think being an athlete is purely about strength. an athlete also has to be equiped with, agility, balance, flexibilty, muscle endurance, cardiovascular endurance, and co-ordination. NFL players tick off quite a few of those boxes but AFL players tick them all.

  • @sirSPARRAofBRIDGY you absolute no brain deadbeat, you cant prove ANYTHING and u havnt, time and time again i have proved you fools wrong and u still cant admit it, have proved there faster, incredibly stronger, far more powerful and explosive and just as fit and you idiots cant come up with a single afl player that can match davis for anything u just cant coz afl is full of weak skinny kids, they would faint if they had to train like nfl players they cant match them for pretty mucn anything

  • Comment removed

  • @texfan999 riewoldt is 6'4", weighs 220 pounds in your system and runs 2-3 km as a warm-up an hour before the match starts. then once play he runs 15-17km at high speed over the next 2 hours of play and i dont know if youve seen riewoldt play but the bloke has no fear and throws himself at everything in the air and gets cleaned up quite often. as a pure athlete lance franklin comes to mind aswell. sorry mate i have no idea who davis is, what NFL team does he play for so i can look him up?

  • @sirSPARRAofBRIDGY vernon davis just google him, hes 250 pounds about, benches about 500 and squats 700 and still runs the hundred in 10.7 secs, got no clue how far he can run but i bet he can run just as far as reiwoldt and sorry afl players do not sprint for the whole game at all half the time there just jogging, and davis isent even the biggest, fastest or strongest in the nfl at all hes only one of many that come to mind and please lance franklin is a damn skinny kid dude not a good example

  • @texfan999 benches 560 actually

  • @texfan999 NFL players are much faster over 100m. thats what there training is based on and 10.7 is very quick. i never said that AFL players sprinted all match i just said riewoldt runs his 15-17 kms at high speed. no player of his size can match him all day, he burns them up. but u think this davis bloke who is trained to do repetitive sprints is able to match riewoldts endurance is without any evidence and lacks understanding of the diffrent muscle fibres and what they are capable of producin

  • @nabilion hardly any afl players can bench 325 your just making shit up and there all skinny and weak as piss u cant find me one that is as athletic and a guy like vernon and afl players cant even hit hard so they have no power or explosivness get over it there weak as piss and look at the rookies hahaha they are so skinny as damn sad there literaly like girls

  • @nabilion there is nothing on the net that even suggests afl players benching close to what an nfl player can bench so yeah your talking shit to try and make them sound stronger but really there just skinny weak girls nfl are real athletes 200to 350 pounds of muslce and pur athleticsm u cant find any afl player would can bench 500 squat 700 and still run the hundred in 10-11 secs so admit it they dont come close to nfl players u absolute idiot

  • @nabilion and look at breat delidio could only do 30 reps doing 65 kgs that is pathetic 65kgs is so light, nfl players do up to 50 reps with 100 kgs

  • @texfan999 Let me put it this way throwing is illegal in australian rules because its so easy to perform. Kicking is easy? So how can someone like Ben Graham who has to focus on developing skills for (tackling, marking, kicking and handballing) beat an american football player who has literally spent his whole sporting life training to kick a ball and nothing else? Its because AFL skill training is far more demanding than the NFL's.

  • @nabilion IDIOT u have no idea how hard it is to throw a nfl ball and throw it well its extreamly difficult u should try and and be able to throw it 70 yards and accurate idiot handballing is so easy u would not be able to throw a ball like a qb nore could anybody in australia if they could wouldnt they go to the usa and be making up to 10 million minimum a yr?? becuase they cant do it its so hard

  • @TheMilfhunter301 no point in doing the money argument because i can just say cut NFL players can come here and earn a million bucks a year. Also you do realize throwing is illegal in afl and that your ball is aerodynamic, smaller and lighter than an afl ball? Furthermore, afl players require to mark, kick, handball and tackle over a long period of time. NFL players pretty much just two of receiving, throwing, punting, or tackling knowing they will be doing only one in a 10 second play.

  • @texfan999 What part of false sense of security don't you understand? Its like putting you in a cage and dumping you in a sea full of sharks. You don't get scared because you have the cage to protect you. Roscoe, is a lightweight if he can take the hits any afl player can as well. Don't seem to get that do you? Not wearing pads and taking hits actually takes training and mental steel.

  • Comment removed

  • @nabilion yeah dickhead read all that, you have nothing the nfl is faster, stronger, tougher, hit harder, requires bc vision, throwing a ball which is so hard to throw and u still cant find me a good afl player who cant match a guy like vernon is anything

  • @texfan999 . 2.92 over 20m for Riewoldt is essentially the same for vernon's 2.65 over 18m. so READ PROPERLY- Vernon is trained for speed and strength for 6 minutes of game time and that is with 5 minute breaks. Running and tackling is way more difficult when you are gasping for breath.

  • @texfan999 Bc vision? The day you can have an opposition player behind the qb before a play and when i see a qb throw backwards more than 20 yards is when nfl players will have proper bc vision. Also saying throwing a ball is hard without saying anything else doesn't really help your cause.

  • @nabilion if they didnt wear pads the game could not be played fool they hit to damn hard and roscoe cant take a hit from all nfl players idiot no afl player could take a hit from a guy like taylor mays who is only a rookie or ray lewis or any other DB or LB none of them could they would break like little twigs

  • @TheMilfhunter301 Roscoe, can take a hit from body shapes of nfl players. that is why he is on the field isn't he? He is lighter than most afl players but he can still survive hits from lbs and dbs like lewis and taylor. So your argument really makes no sense. But I definitely know lewis would tear his hamstring after 20 minutes of hardcore running and also be terribly short of breath.

  • @nabilion ok and how u know that u dont do u dumbass any nfl player would destroy any afl player, what part of being weak and skinny dont u undestand u cant prove me wrong u just cant nobody can coz im speaking the truth u cant find me any good afl athletes to match vernon for anything and hes one of so so many nfl players putting up those numbers

  • Comment removed

  • @texfan999 Someone can't do maths afl players are required to bench press 1.66x their own weight to play. Average weight of players is 88 kilos so they bench can press 325 pounds. Also i don't see any afl players running to the training when they see blood. Like Eli Manning did that is a sign of pure pussiness.

  • @nabilion

No fair... everyone in the United States knows that Eli Manning is a pussy. Everyone but NY Giants fans. You cherry picked the wimpiest quarterback for an example. Even WE make fun of that guy...surely you have those in the AFL too.

  • @nabilion HAHAHAHHA afl players arnt required to bench 325 at all u fool hahhahahaha hardley any of them cant bench 250 what a joke and even if they could thats not even close to 500-700 which is what allot of nfl players can do and afl players cant lift serious weight look at them they look like the skinny kids

  • @TheMilfhunter301 wow. you know some is a dumbass when they can't read properly. I wrote is mandatory for them to bench-press 1.66x of their own body weight not 325 pounds. Also i wrote the average of weight of players is 88 kilos so half of the competition can definitely bench press 325 pounds. Look up the article in Sunday Times jan 10th of 2010, It is all there.

  • @TheMilfhunter301 Skinny kids? Bruce Lee weighed 72 kilos and has the same body shape of afl players. Are you really gonna be the dumbass that you are and say Bruce Lee is a skinny kid?

  • @nabilion hahahhaha did u not see the huge 3 inch gash on his forehead pissing blood into his eyes and he still has to get bak out there and play that neva happens in afl u dumbass look at afl they get a tiny little cut on there leg and they have to run away to the bench like little pussies so what u just said is sooooo stupid look at afl with there "blood rule" at least he didnt cry like reiwoldt would have the little skinny bitch

  • @TheMilfhunter301 It does happen in the afl ie sean dempster. The difference was he wasn't pleading to the trainers to clean him up, also he came back on as well. The blood rule in place because there is such a thing called hygiene. Also because players run the risk of breaking their skin when they put their body on the line. Whereas NFL doesn't (unless they forget to put their chin strap on properly in eli's case) hence they no blood rule.

  • afl is a bunch of skinny weak guys chasing a ball like seagulls after a chip they look like skinny girls compared to nfl players, nfl players are some of the best athletes, there stronger, faster, bigger, more powerful and 10 times as tough, afl guys cant even take a hit, really would like to see them take a hit from a 250-350 pound nfl player who is full of strength and power then u fuks might understand why the protection is a necessity, need it coz they hit so hard

  • @texfan999 Listen mate your comparing apples and oranges. Im a massive fan of our game the AFL and i also like watching the couple of games of NFL they show here aswell. AFL players wear no padding like their american counterparts and they run between 18km-25km a game as well as taking big hits and have to have a lot more skills in their arsenal than the one dimensional NFL 'specialist" players. make no mistake NFL players are not even half the athletes that AFL players are.

  • @sirSPARRAofBRIDGY HAHA ok what makes them the better athlete? there fuking weak and skinny there hardly even an athlete all they can do is run big deal apart from that they cant do fukall and they dont take hard hits coz there to weak and skinny and dont have the power to hit somebody hard enough to do real damage and nfl players, just as skilled, there required to block, throw, catch, run, have endurance, strength, kick and more, no afl player could last in the nfl because there far to weak

  • @texfan999 youve obviously never seen an afl player in the flesh, its the only explanation for your ignorant and repetitive comments. We have had a couple of NFL players come out in their off season as guests of the AFL and they have all commented that they are suprised how big and strong the players are. Of course NFL players look bigger, coz they are cover head to toe in 20 kilos of protective equipment which means that the only injury they might risk is a sore back from lugging it all around.

  • @texfan999 just a further comment on your "weak and skinny" argument. you say..... "nfl players, just as skilled, there required to block, throw, catch, run, have endurance, strength, kick and more"... thats not true is it. They need to know how to block OR throw OR catch and run OR kick etc.

  • @sirSPARRAofBRIDGY

"make no mistake NFL players are not even half the athletes that AFL players are."

Well, I just watched a replay of Collingwood vs. Geelong on ESPN. The AFL players spend most of their time being careful NOT to run into each other very hard. A technique one would figure necessary for such a game. NFL players RUN FULL-BORE into each other on every play which is much more exerting than mixed jogging and sprinting, and much tougher to recover from. These guys aren't even built.

  • @raisin212k They dont run full bore into each other because they will get tackled and get ball. And if the dont be careful and run into each other the get reported. Rugby and AFL are 2 different things. You dont need to be the strongest in AFL because all you do is kick, run and handball. You tackle but you dont need to be really strong. Rugby, all they do is run into each, throw and tackle. You rarely see one go run the whole field. If a NRL player went into the AFL he wouldnt last a quarter.

  • @SamNickHolman

I don't know anything about the NRL. I'm just responding the quote sirSPARRAofBRIDGY said about NFL players not being half the athlete. Ridiculous statement, and ass backwards.

If the AFL players were of any real athletic merit, they would be scouted for the NFL. The AFL can't nearly pay them as much. The few that have come over have only been punters and kickers. Not a very big role in the real overall athletics of the NFL...

  • @raisin212k the NFL could try and scout them but they would fail. Aussie rules is played for the love of the game. but if a player were to defect he would be able to make the transition from AFL to NFL much easier than a convert the other way. your players would take too long to teach how to kick the footy and take too long to train to get them athletic enough to be able to cope with the demands of AFL football. Whereas anyone can run in a line for 10-20 yards and turn and catch.

  • @sirSPARRAofBRIDGY HAHHAHAHA the love of the game yeah sure, so they would give up millions for the love of the game fuk off!!!! y didnt rocca and ben come to teh nfl to be punters more money thats y, they could never make it in the nfl at a real position there far to skinny and weak and not fast enough and not powerful or explosive enough and as soon as they get a hit with 3000-5000 pounds of force from a real athlete it would be back to the afl to play with the other girls

  • @texfan999 both of them were at the end of their careers in the AFL, they were too old to play at the top level anymore. Graham probably had one year at best and was at geelong when they finished 12th and they werent looking like theyd make a push for the flag. Rocca was delisted by his club, thats why they took the money that was offered. Who wouldnt. BUT they had both been offered try-outs at NFL clubs 4-5 years before and knocked it back.

  • @sirSPARRAofBRIDGY

Ben Graham. Sav Rocca. Recognize those names? They're AFL players.

They're mere low-ballers in the NFL tho, with mixed results.

Do you really think it's that easy to trun and catch a ball when you're running that fast down the field, sometimes having less than a full second to locate it in mid flight and pull it in?

Obviously the ppl who run the NFL are making a huge mistake paying these guys millions when anyone can do it.

  • @sirSPARRAofBRIDGY

not only that, but the whole time they gotta look for that ball they're a sitting duck to get blasted by another player. Let's just say this... it's obvious there's more to it than simply running a straight line, which it often is not, and simply catching the ball. Pads or not, these men are putting their lives at risk and there is a serious skill involved innit. You can tell me you don't prefer our version, but don't play yourselves Aussies, our NFL stars aren't pussies.

  • @raisin212k "putting their lives at risk" are you serious? come on, dont you think you idolising these blokes a bit too much. sure they could risk a bit of an injury but death? only deaths ive found the NFL in the last decade are 2 who colapsed because of their heart, 1 from heat exhaustion and 1 from a poor tackle, where the tackler died. not one report of any player who was receiving dieing. btw i never said NFL players are pussies, i have huge respect for them, just not for your argument.

  • @sirSPARRAofBRIDGY

I did idolize these guys as a kid. They do risk death, even if no one has died from a bad hit in a while. But they have. More than that, historically some of these guys are crippled and have brain damage for the rest of their lives. There are documentaries about this. I can provide a link if you don't believe me. This happens regardless of the pads. There is nothing wrong about that argument.

  • @raisin212k i perhaps phrased what i meant to say the wrong way. the point i wanted to make is that all contact sports players risk their lives in some way. NFL players are no more prone to death than those who play rugby union or AFL. they all pose there own risks but in different ways. and if you could post that link, i actually wouldnt mind seeing that. as a relative new comer to NFL im trying to get a bit more education than what i learn simply from watchin ESPN.

  • @raisin212k first up ive already addressed rocca and graham in previous comments. both of those were at the end of their careers in the AFL being 32-33 they were no longer able to cope with the physical side of the game, so they went and duped you yanks out of your money. the funny thing is they had probably only being kickin the pigskin for about 6 months before they forced out your fellas who had been doing it all their life.

  • @sirSPARRAofBRIDGY

My apologies for not catching that. They must have been comments to someone else. Still tho, why ware you surprised about a veteran Aussie edging out others? I know it makes you proud since he's an Aussie, but it's not like our leagues are filled with Aussies. You may know this already, but there are many specialty positions in the NFL. An argument you've heard already, no doubt. Kickers are hard to find. NFL scouts look at track stars, soccer stars, and AFL players recently.
