I was just wondering if you were able to play Ikaruga on either the Dreamcast or Gamecube?
I've heard that there is a bit of slowdown on the GC version but the level design remains intact.
I just noticed that you have played the Xbox l360 version. Although it HD, I've heard murmers that there are some stages/details absence in this version.
I have played the Dreamcast and GameCube versions. I still have the DC release but I hated the GC version so much - they removed all the in-game story text - that I gave that game away . The X-Box 360 version is great because of the online Leaderboards, the replay save, and that you don't have to rotate the screen to get the original TATE resolution. Treasure took the liberty to change up some of the enemy patterns for the 360 version as well.
As far as the absent details - the X-Box 360 version is missing the start up scene where you see Ikaruga's pilot, Shinra, walking in the haze as you are selecting what game mode to play. Wish they had that as well as a digital manual from the DC release in the 360 version. Stage wise - everything is intact.
HOLY SHIT!!!!!! #OMG i just jizzed
