  • Nice, I remember this match. Do you have the clip where he makes a 50 foot putt and did the fist pump. I'd like to revisit that moment.

  • @pinoysuperray18 I think its actually towards the end of this clip but I will revisit the VHS tape and try and capture it. They actually play this once and a while on the Golf Channel. It would be nice to capture that digitally. -

  • well it only took a full minute to shake scott's hand. mum, dad, then ah yep...i'll shake hands with my opponent. absolutely no class whatsoever. the early signs of a self-consumed and thoroughly selfish human being.

  • Not enough people mention the incredible golf played that day by the young Steve Scott. He even says when they shake hands- a wry smile on his face- "I don't know how I took you that far." I mean he pushed him to the 38th hole!

    Hats off Steve Scott....

Oh yea....and Tiger title no.3. Badass.

    Thanks for the upload.

  • Nice to see someone enjoys the rare video that this is and knows how really good Tiger was and will continue to be. They just built an image that no one could live up to. It will be interesting to see how the rest of his career evolves after all the tabloid hype settles down.

  • Steve's so nice. I really liked that interview with Tiger and him. Tiger was so young, my gosh. Very awesome!

  • If only they knew what he would go on to achieve

  • haha steve scott is now head pro at the ridge at backbrook in ringoes nj

  • I remember watching the finals and Woods tremendous comeback against Steve Scott. You almost wonder if this victory was the start of it all.

  • Me too. I can't believe how clear it is in my memory too. Awesome.

  • @lrbaseball15 it started out the womb. haha im jp but really everyone saw tiger coming longgg before this

  • Thank you so much for putting this up!

  • All of the majors he has won, this is my favorite one. I remember Steve Scott and his fiance/eventually wife caddy. NBC kept showing them and playing it up like it was the team Scott vs. Tiger. After a slow and nervous start, Tiger made clutch shot after clutch shot. Team Scott did their best and got a lot of flack but I'm glad Steve stood by his caddy/fiance. Tiger's success justifies it.

  • Hey gounc93, go f*** yourself !
