@andrejoaosf no, this is an XLR condenser microphone so you will need a source of phantom power (a small mixer for example).

The Neumann U47 is one of the largest, yet lightest condenser mics in the world. I guess because its not heavy it must suck?

does it require phantom alimentation ? Because I got the pod X3 for Christmas, and I wondered if I could put this mic on it, as pod X3 doesn't allow phantom-alimentated mics to work.

nice gold bracelet buddy. Pointless video and one day you're gonna drop this mic and put a scratch on it and decide to sell it on ebay. I am glad there are guys like you around though, It makes the secondhand market for microphones that much better when you guys buy em and use em twice then sell em six years later to guys like me for a third of the price and we use em every other day for another 20 years till they die : ) love it !
