A lot of sites also do redirects and depending on your user agent or IP will even send you to DIFFERENT sites and also have javascripts that read your location and timezone to make the site say things they think will appeal to you to get you to fall for their scam!

There are a LOT of sites doing this scam now! Thanks for posting about it! We need more people warning people about this! I just warned Proboards that they themselves have been unwittingly advertising it in their ad banners!

Google Adsense is flawed. All it takes to get your account banned is for somebody to click your ads repeatedly. Then Google will think you're trying to scam them by generating false click income.

@scorchedsound this video isn't about Google Adsense... its about a Fraudulent Company now under investigation by the FEDS, Google and most major media outlets for them using their logos and hacking/stealing people's credit card information without permission. Thanks for the comment.

Once not long ago I looked into Google adwords and unfortunately provided my phone number. I was pelted with abusive calls at all hours. I tried to call Google to have my info removed and was told "nobody can do it" was hung up on. had to change my number eventually.

Sorry to hear about your credit card being stolen. Thanks for sharing this unfortunate news with others. This sounds like a report for your CNN iReporter spot. I'm glad that Google is going after these crooks. This is one of the reasons why the FTC have devised such strict rules.

Yes this is great information. Its a shame people are using those major sites, and trademark names and tv channels. It makes it hard for people to find someone who they can trust.
