It costs 3.1 million dollars for a single 30 second superbowl add for 2009. Don't believe me, look it up. Also, the adverage cost of a heroes episode to produce is just under 1 million per episode. So since this add cost NBC over 6 million they could have gotten in add time (the cost of over 6 episodes) and it was only a minute long, u'd think they'd put at least the same visuals as they use in the show, if not more to get people 2 want 2 watch the show. But they used cheap/poor special effects

It's the most seen add for the show, period. I believe more people watch soccer than any sport around the world... but the more people watch the superbowl (as a single event) than any other single event, while wrestling may get more viewers than football overall, (which i don't know if that's true...) the superbowl is by far the most watched single event, and has been every year for the past long long while, that's why add time costs so much.
