This film premeired on NBC Monday Night at the Movies on November 15, 1982.
Letters were green I remember. At the commercial break, when it showed Movie Program logo, there was nothing said by announcer. No "Dressed to Kill will return in a moment" or anything! Probably due to the times-was it unspeakable? Does anyone have the original broadcast premeire on an old vhs tape or beta or in old commercial archeives? How are these things stored and preserved anyway? Please reply, kindly
There were 3 tv spot trailers for this movie in 1980. This one with red dot and 2 others. One shows Angie in the museum following the guy with voice over saying "Now invites you to the the latest showing...in MURDER!" Then the glass breaks in the window pane and "Dressed to Kill"" appears in red letters with the faint image of a razor falling behind the red letters and it flashes women's faces screaming in terror or fear.."rated R". Last one was Keith Gordon How can the other two be found? P

The legs, are they encased in nylons?

Whose legs are those supposed to be? Nancy Allen's or Angie Dickinson's?
Superb thriller!!

Likely it is supposed to be Nancy Allen, but given the deceptive nature of movie advertising it may be neither lady
