  • Tyres ain't suited to the car, far too much understeer. The cars relying on the front tyres for grip and they just ain't given it.

  • Damn I wish I can drive like that. He's good,

    Subaru power!!!!!

  • AWESOME! Almost no understeer at all!

  • シート一脚ぶんで、俺の車が二台買えるぜ!ふざけるなww

  • Отморозок

  • If i tried this at this speed id wreck on like the second turn lol.

  • atleast he can heel toe good with those shoes.

  • what type of exhaust dose it have?

  • loving the ronald mcdonald shoes

  • good downshifts lol

  • my car is a mclaren f1 everone looks i dont drive it often cos i get fed up with the attention

  • Seemed like a whole lot of understeer to me, what about you guys? Sweet car though I love Subaru's.

  • jizzed. S204 <3 . I drive a 2006 2.0R, the baby sister... EPIC CAR.

  • SUBARU 4 LIFE

  • SUBARU POWER

  • nice !!!

  • style...

  • the drift king can make any car look good

  • I meet Keiichi in Year 2005 in a Japan holyday. He is a small and funny guy^^

  • only when he drive seriously ;)

  • gangster! no helmet!

  • Sounds good even tho it does not have that normal boxer rumble.

  • The best ah shhh

  • Awesome car and driver !

  • 1:40 Tsuchiya said 145km/h(90mph)!!

  • Anybody knows the name of this driver? I have forgotten his name but i know he's a Drift King in japan...

  • @ 25starscream : His name is Keiichi Tsuchiya. He's a former street racer himself. Turned pro-racer until finally retiring. After which a few motorsports friends of his founded Japan's very own automotive show/videos, Best Motoring. Which is actually the very video you've just seen. He's amazing as a test driver, and you can trace his skill very much driving/racing on the touge. Driving at hi-speeds on the touge has become second nature to him. :-)

  • Thanks buddy! Appreciate that. You must be a fan of scoobies too?...

  • @ 25starscream : In some way, yes... I couldn't be a full pledged Subaru enthusiast since, as of this moment, I couldn't afford one. That time will come though... but as time passed, so did the 4-door full sedan body style did... I would prefer this original body design if you ask me. The hatchback though is still pure Subaru... designed that way to match WRC's new homolgation requirements.

For now... I own a scale model of this same car on the video to keep me inspired for the goal. :-)

  • Keiichi Tsuchiya :D

  • Looks front heavy and Understeery. Needs more camber upfront.

  • wish i could heal toe shift like that

  • Find a good foot (Toe) position on the brake first, then find/feel the throttle with your heal. Star pratice at low speeds.. I used to do when stoping at traffic lights (w/o any other car around). Don't bother to rev match at first. just find a solid position to brake. After some time of practice, you will be able to do it at any speeds.

    Regards

  • omg the guy drivin is a drift and touge legend

  • this car isa awesome

  • i totally agree with you!! could you plz tell me the specifications of this scooby like displacement-bhp-torque-red line rpm-brakes..? thanx a lot pal

  • 2.0

    320

    319

  • awesome!

  • Waoooh!!!

    91 mile/h speed!!!

  • Tell Ronald Macdonald we found the bastard who stole his shoes!!!

  • lol

  • yeah but you have to chase him very fast to retrieve Mac's shoes :)

  • i like the way the japanese do quick aggressive gear changes there great also they are very good drivers!!!

  • youtube shoud just start a forum for all you fucking retards to fight and talk

  • @Need4car fuck u bitch, come out tolly and ill telya wer de fuck im at, u wana put nobody else to sleep

  • Tsuchiya-san is an amazing driver, he's so experienced and comfortable, he's on a completely different level.

  • You guys are all talks only. I can bet my fucking balls that not none of you could drive the vehicle in that kind of road and in that kind of speed and in that kind of timing. This guy is an experianced/professional drifter in Japan and Fuji Heavy Industries had called him to try out the new realesed S204 at that time. So its proven that this vehicle is one of the best in japanese performance cars. Well, no offence guys but still japanese has the best handling technology so far..

  • of course

which explains how an fq320 evo 8 beats a lambo lp460 on the tracks =)

tuners are the god of handling

especially subaru with its flat 4 which is close to the ground and provides more stability and also the cross bars which further enhances its handling. the subaru trademark

  • i know i mean the slightest missap driving like that could end up fatal but not for drivers like him i mean ive done that but i was not driving lol its quite scary the first time getting used to more power subaru owns!and actualy british have built the best handling car just to correct you . have u heard of a noble m12gto 3r

  • Jesus he really must know the track. The Impreza is flying. Looks scary coming towards the camera.

  • I can drive a 6sp better and I speak english!!!

  • so then i would assume that u know these

    whats a racing line?

    whats a counter racing line?

    what is line hugging?

    what is straight running?

heel toe? twin drop? 2 turn handling?

dont bother answering u might've googled it.

  • Bro whenever you come to Atlanta Ga.

we can go to MotorSpeedWay Atlanta

    or BloodMount,"It's up to you"

but your gonig to need more than a stock STI

  • would love to accept your offer but

    i'm in malaysia

and i am cntent with the moutain roads here . much more challenging than any high speed straight road point to point races.

    though in my opinion;

any car is capable of anything.

    come to malaysia and u'll know how a 0.8cc car beat a r34 ^^

  • sounds cool because I'am in a state with mountain roads. And not all American's "race"

    in a straight. lol

  • LINE

  • majority =)not all

    i dont generalize =P

coz i've seen dudes over here who tailgate bloody close and just before the next corner they slam their brakes through the mat and onto the road like there's not tommorow.

  • bahahaha crowerking thinks he has an s204...that makes me laugh.

  • fucking english please

  • damnn perfect driver

  • My 600 HP AWD minivan can beat the S204.

  • i doubt on the touge lol but hey you never know what could happen

  • haha. probably not on the touge, because it wouldn't corner well there.

  • Well there goes a set of brake pads.

  • I've raced un Eclipse on a road almost like that with 2 lanes at night and won. I think I shit in my pants afther.

  • i have S204... very good...

  • bullshit you have an s204

    fucking liar

  • wow your mean

  • hahaha.... are u jealous with me... bwhahaha..

  • Very well driven!

  • Awesome balance between handling and power!

  • good car

  • perfect car

  • Go Keiichi Tsuchiya in that S204. It's mine.

  • herif iyi gidiyor.. arabaya zaten laf yok.. çok güzel olmuş.

  • ohh, perfect!

  • at about 1:54. look at the gear stick moving when he gives it heaps through the corners.

and look at the speed he takes those corners, he defanatly knows the track

  • top gear needs to compare this one with the shity evo's they keep using. subaru for life. He makes it look easy but he is going pretty fast great job.

  • Yeh~ i remember the course..It Is Where Tsuchiya San Did All His Touge Battles..It Is The Gunma Cycle Sport Center ...Grip + Drift Style...Just Perfectly Done By The Drift King...

  • WAY TO GO TSUCHIYA ~!! He's The Best Drift King Ever...

  • He was basically saying that the engine was fantastic that it's hand built by picky professionals and the car still mildly understeers but it's due to the tires. He also said that understeer quickly diminished with little off-throttle or touch-brake so it's easy to manage. The seat alone costs \700,000.

  • If somebody find the video traslated should be great also recomend impreza history. Bravo Impreza

  • hes in a AWD car what you expect, nail the throttle goin round and kinda sharp corner in that and you'd be nailing the retainging wall goin pretty damn fast

  • BTW, can someone translate Keiichi's & the presenter's comments on the car?

  • Dude EasyRiderRacing, that looks like the Drift King test-driving the S204 on his home range & he's driving blazingly fast, though it seems like he's grip-driving rather than drifting.

  • Wow - lots of on and off the gas - must not know the road at all.

    And what's with one glove?

  • look more closely dum ass, he has two gloves on, plus i'd love to see you drive that road....

  • if you knew what tsuchiya was saying, the front tires were not so good and it was causing the car to under steer so he had to let off the gas. and also this was more of testing the basic speed, cornering, and all other aspects of the car. not time attack.

  • I bet you have never even driven on a track.

  • EVO !?!? WHAT IS EVO!?!?
