If I could ask Namco staff 1 question, it would be: "Why put some GODDAMN ANIMALS in a (almost) 100% realistic fight game with real fight styles?" (Don't get me wrong, I love to play with Roger(jr), Kuma, Panda and even Gon. I just find it really hard to understand.).

I can't believe how terrible this game is. Tekken 5 on PS2 was the first fighting game I ever bought and it kept me playing for months. Tekken 6... I don't know what they did but I hate it.
Yeah, I just tried Online once again in T6. It was horrible... I got seriously owned, because I had a 1-2 second delay when performing moves. Halfway the game, I disconnected, too... Namco, if you're going to make an online feature to T7, please make it MUCH less laggier.

Most of the time your character gets knocked down and will almost always have a difficult time getting back up!
Why do the characters in the game bounce around the floor so much?
Namco had better fix this in an update or in the next Tekken. I miss the days of
Tekken 3 as this was one of the most balanced games around! Don't get me wrong, Tekken 6 is awesome but the physics need more work ( characters bouncing like balls)!
@pochoun33137 i think they should keep the bound system, but increase the health bar or make juggles do less damage. one or the 2, i like juggling, although i don't do it much, bcuz im not that good with my characters only launcher. but i think juggling adds a little more depth to tekken. Juggling and bound is here to stay. Tekken is still one of the top fighting games, if not the top. Some argue that SF is better, but thats just opinion. SF is a good game though.
@mrfinalfantasy9 I like juggling in fighting games as the next guy but… Tekken 6 seems to make this the main fighting mechanic. As soon as someone figures out how to play with a character, that person becomes reliant on juggling the opponent. I'm not saying Tekken 6 isn't good, its just that the gameplay seems one sided. They should have talked to the Soul Calibur team about juggling. At least in that game one can shift themselves mid air to recover and the bouncing around is limited!

I love the Tekken series as I always found it to be a lot more fun to play than Virtua Fighter.
But some of the changes we both noticed needs correcting.

Bcuz when you do get wall stunned, the character stays stunned for the longest. But i think if they just nerf the juggles in the next installment, it'll be more balanced for the most part. and certain characters need nerfing also. hwoarang, baek, bob, etc...

then why not allow the victim some way to protect/free themselves? The wall stun is also way too common in fights! I really wish the developers got with the team from Soul Calibur for some pointers. That game is really balanced as far as fighters go (Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike being another one).

My online game lags only when the connection bar is red... But what I do hate in the online game is people who uses only one powerful move all the fuckin time. That's annoying and noobish.
Have you guys heard of Urban Reign? Namco did a really good job and it's also based on Tekken! If they use the combat system in Urban Reign for Scenario Campaign, this game will be way more fun than ever!!!!!!!!!!
Wow the most i ever get when i win a fight is 2000, only cuz the only 3 people i end up ever fighting is a constant backflipping marshall law, a paul that keeps "OWHAOAOA" the shit out of me, or the robot girl that was born to use the same move.

I host my own matches b/c I'm sick of getting kicked out every fuckin' time I join a lobby, damn those Japanese kids. Even with hosting my matches, it takes so long for someone to join. What pisses me off the most is when I'm about to fight someone, then the connection gets bad and I return to the lobby. Namco needs to work on those online issues.

Well I asked some one and they said my bar was 3 and I only fight against 4 and 5,reacently I be taking on any since Im spending like 10m for a match.I'm tired of it anyways it's not worth playing online it's terrible for me all I get is ager issues lol I wanna break it.

You have to study the lag and delay in the first round, then afterwards you need to time the juggle perfectly. Thankfully namco has fixed this problem, you can now download a new patch from xbl or psn. Now its fully playable.
some aren't going to like this but I don't like the idea that you now have to rank up your characters online for a few reasons.
The first and biggest problem the online lagging really hinders your fighting strategy and give a huge advantage to button mashers. Secendly some player are very cheap with their tactics and when they realise the cheap tactics are working they keep doing them, I mean seriously if you are facing kazuya, steve, zafina, alisa, hwoarang or eddy don't expect to win.
reason three win the online match losses connection in the middle of a fight, now when that happens you get penalized with a loss. I lost track of how many times I had a loss added to my records because of a loss online connection to your opponent, it's extremely annoying escially when I'm winning which is most of the time. Online play is fun though even with these problems but I don't like ranking concept.
Tekken 6 is such a fun game but I can't stand losing because of lag & action delay. I don't mind losing or anything, it's just annoyingly laggy. What a shame. Now I only play against the cpu on ultra hard :(

for me this games online is very gud propabably 1 of the best for 3d fighters, i dont feel any lag when im doin playa matches, but there r quite a few lag glitches with a few ranked matches. but compared to most online fighters, this is playable and fun online.
this guy who posted the video is right, the online is the only terrible feature so far till they fix it then it will be worth it to go online every time. the scenario was like huh, need more info on the plot, if only on what i saw on that last trailer of the game was there the stunning battle which i felt on the trailer but not on the game, plus how come it showed othe character able to play in scenario as your ally, and the game only alisa and raven. Same me with. But it was only one friend I was able to have a good online experience with. The rest of my friends who live in the same city as me (some who were even literally down the street) gave me some of the worst lag and inout delay imaginable. I don't know, it's really weird. Hopefully that patch makes a huge improvement but with this terrible lag any improvement is considered good. Did King of Fighters XII even get its online patch?
EvilBowlOfCereal, I actually got some good matches on T6 against a friend last night (every match online I've done so far has been a player match). The match was similar to playing SCIV with 5 bars and I was able to connect stuff consistently and lag was minimal. So maybe it's a combination of distance (though all my friends live no more than a half hour away from my current location) and connection (we were both wired and when my other friend changed to wired our connection also got better).
I tired a few matches against a friend who lives in the same city as me and it was really bad. It didn't even feel any better then the normal lag I get. It was pretty much the same. But I hear there's a patch coming soon so hopefully namco makes the right changes.

Nah Tenkaichi had too many flaws. Combo system was broken. Online sucked, Too easy to do long combos etc. Raging Blast has fixed alot of issues. The combo system is balanced, THe defensive system is stronger and more difficult, and online is lagless. TOtally worth getting
combos hard to connect ? theres something called skill and challange factor. i like when combos are hard to do cause when you finaly get them down you will feel proud.
you do know I'm talking about online, right? when you cant connect a simple 3 hit move into a bound that's not a matter of skill, its lag. Unless your one of tho people who are new to this game and think online is how the game feels all the time. Online is unplayable.
Lucky me Miguel combos are doable with lag but everything happens 1 second late so I still lose to Eddie Christie mashers...Miguel is already slow plus the lag ugh.....But I juggle all day! XD Sorry to hear cereal I know so much Tekken fans were put off by the online mode...

its not so hard just have kazuya. gear him up with regeneration 6 health. freeze 15% or more. have 250+ health with him. get some defence and have attack power. get all these stats then practice hes spinning demon kicks with is up towards an circle, circle, circle, circle. practice that an it turns into eze mode

I host my own matches b/c I'm sick of getting kicked out every fuckin' time I join a lobby, damn those Japanese kids. Even with hosting my matches, it takes so long for someone to join. What pisses me off the most is when I'm about to fight someone, then the connection gets bad and I return to the lobby. Namco needs to work on those online issues.

@EvilBowlOfCereal I just tried Tekken 6 online and found that 4 bars is also iffy. I haven't played a match with 5 bars yet, but even 4 bars had those delays and I couldn't connect any combos. I don't mind losing to better players, but losing to poor players because of horrible timing delay is frustrating.

You have to study the lag and delay in the first round, then afterwards you need to time the juggle perfectly. Thankfully namco has fixed this problem, you can now download a new patch from xbl or psn. Now its fully playable.

some aren't going to like this but I don't like the idea that you now have to rank up your characters online for a few reasons.
The first and biggest problem the online lagging really hinders your fighting strategy and give a huge advantage to button mashers. Secendly some player are very cheap with their tactics and when they realise the cheap tactics are working they keep doing them, I mean seriously if you are facing kazuya, steve, zafina, alisa, hwoarang or eddy don't expect to win.

reason three win the online match losses connection in the middle of a fight, now when that happens you get penalized with a loss. I lost track of how many times I had a loss added to my records because of a loss online connection to your opponent, it's extremely annoying escially when I'm winning which is most of the time. Online play is fun though even with these problems but I don't like ranking concept.

for me this games online is very gud propabably 1 of the best for 3d fighters, i dont feel any lag when im doin playa matches, but there r quite a few lag glitches with a few ranked matches. but compared to most online fighters, this is playable and fun online.

this guy who posted the video is right, the online is the only terrible feature so far till they fix it then it will be worth it to go online every time. the scenario was like huh, need more info on the plot, if only on what i saw on that last trailer of the game was there the stunning battle which i felt on the trailer but not on the game, plus how come it showed othe character able to play in scenario as your ally, and the game only alisa and raven. Same me with. But it was only one friend I was able to have a good online experience with. The rest of my friends who live in the same city as me (some who were even literally down the street) gave me some of the worst lag and inout delay imaginable. I don't know, it's really weird. Hopefully that patch makes a huge improvement but with this terrible lag any improvement is considered good. Did King of Fighters XII even get its online patch?

EvilBowlOfCereal, I actually got some good matches on T6 against a friend last night (every match online I've done so far has been a player match). The match was similar to playing SCIV with 5 bars and I was able to connect stuff consistently and lag was minimal. So maybe it's a combination of distance (though all my friends live no more than a half hour away from my current location) and connection (we were both wired and when my other friend changed to wired our connection also got better).

I tired a few matches against a friend who lives in the same city as me and it was really bad. It didn't even feel any better then the normal lag I get. It was pretty much the same. But I hear there's a patch coming soon so hopefully namco makes the right changes.

Nah Tenkaichi had too many flaws. Combo system was broken. Online sucked, Too easy to do long combos etc. Raging Blast has fixed alot of issues. The combo system is balanced, THe defensive system is stronger and more difficult, and online is lagless. TOtally worth getting

Lucky me Miguel combos are doable with lag but everything happens 1 second late so I still lose to Eddie Christie mashers...Miguel is already slow plus the lag ugh.....But I juggle all day! XD Sorry to hear cereal I know so much Tekken fans were put off by the online mode...
