I don't think ending DADT is a good idea. I predict that if they do, they will still have some sort of restrictions on open behaviour of the homosexual persuasion. The military will probably make restrictions on public displays of affection more stringent on everyone. I think a good compromise would be to keep DADT, BUT eliminate any ability to penalize a military person for being gay. The changes probably will not be fully what the homosexual activists are looking for.
