Fights between these animals rarely last long in the wild, nor do they often result in injury. They test each others strength and the weaker one will quickly run away. TO confine these animals with no escape and make them fight is unatural and evil.

Lions are better fighters pound for pound. But with a 50-100 lb weight advantage, tigers are clearly and scientifically superior. Likewise a 1500 lb Grizzly bear will dominate any animal on land other than elephants, Rhinos, and maybe Hippos.

There have been many thousands of such staged fights, but I haven't see anyone who can give stats proving the tiger majority wins a one on one fight. I've only heard reports that the lion dominates. Also, you make too much of the size issue. I'll; give that the tiger is a little larger than the lion but the lion has more brute strength. A typical sample used by tiger fans of stock photo which shows an apparently slightly larger tiger than the lion. Example, look at the angle of the hind limbs of both animals. Much more angled for the lion.

Of course it is documented, there is even a video made in the 1960's showing a tiger vs a shaved lion.
Zoo keepers in Korea? I'm not talking about now, these pit fights were held from 1930 - 1960 - All documents point to the lion being the victor, most notably in 1959 where 5 fights were held 4 tigers were killed and 1 lion was killed.

No, you misunderstood what I said... The lions in everland actually win most of the fights even though they are Asiatic, the manes are small in everland but I wouldn't say they are shaved.
However the fights I was refering to were the 1960's Korean PIT FIGHTS, where they shaved the lions mane to make it fair.
Lol, that clip is one where the lion actually wins you know... It's a classic thing to show 10 seconds of a clip and then pause it. And there is no throat bite.

There would be many reasons why the lion lost. He would lose his center of balance, he'd feel more exposed and thus less agressive.
In the Korean pit fights they normally pulled out the animal before they died but in the end 5 tigers died and only 1 lion died.

The tiger, a great an magesic predator. Such beauty ought to be preserved. Yet tiger is one of the most endagered animals. In a year or two there will be no Siberian tiger. They are that rare and threatened because the are killed for theatening livestock. After that will come the Bengal tiger who is hunted for medicinal perposes. In the next 10 (thats 2020) there will be no wild tigers at all. What will we do? We want whis wildanimal in our presence? Deadly but dust as deserving as ouselves?

Tigers at one time were very plentifull and easy to catch. If l only that were the case now... chinks keep catching and killing them so they can make medicine to get erections consequenly tigers are rare now. Probably the most severe killers were the Btittish who killed them for sport. The tiger would probably not be endagereded now if not for sport hunters. After all, the Chinese have been hunting them for medecine for thousands of years. My kids wont see tigers if we keep going the way we are.

Last week, a tiger attacked me...I knocked it out with a couple of punches and then strangled it to death. It was a fairly small tiger; maybe 450 pounds.

Lions hunt in packs and pride while tigers are solitary..can't really compare predatory skills...One thing has been proven about the mighty tiger - When a large male Brown Bear comes out of hibernation to steal an Amur's prey, the tiger (whether its a large healthy male or not) either runs or stays and fights and gets its back broken or its skull crushed.

Point number 3. On the first movie the lion looks badly fed (and I do know a well fed lion). Everything affects an animal. Feeding, health, TRAINING, and so forth...
Apart form that I do admire tigers and they are great on THEIR environment. As the lion is on his. Don't forget that a Lion on a community rarely works cause the females hunt.

You're basing yourself on some myths in this movie you made.
Point number 1- Both animals have to be well fed and in equal health status. You CANNOT guarantee that on movies.
Point number 2- Tiger excel in many things and one is NOT hunting CROCS nor BROWN BEARS. On the first if they do it is on young and never on adults. When a Tiger kills a perfect health NILE CROC please do mail me. The CROCs have the advantage and tigers do dring water from always looking for danger in the water.

Lions are better fighters pound for pound. But with a 50-100 lb weight advantage, tigers are clearly and scientifically superior. Likewise a 1500 lb Grizzly bear will dominate any animal on land other than elephants, Rhinos, and maybe Hippos.
