the elder scrolls lost there individuality the hp regans so hp is low hide behind a rock. want cod like perks you got it. do you want side quest that are literally all the same you got it. weapons and armor dont degrade you got it. this game is simplified for the cod fanboys to come over and play. if there is not a hardcore mode this is a no buy.

I didn't really like oblivion, it was fine the first playthough, I put 80+ hours into it over the course of a year but I found all the other elder scrolls way better for there time, Skyrim looks promising and I hope it is as good as it seems. Only thing I don't like about it so far is the model of the horses :P I know in Nordic areas horses were fatter simple for more warmth which is good they considered it but It looks really weird and I hope someone makes a new model after release :P..

To me, they look totally male and bad ass, they look strong and I prefer them compare to the standard skinny horse. Especially if I want to do that big Nord Warrior with real heavy armor and shield, well, that horse look strong enough to believe it could be possible to carry his master. Don't worry, a simple mod with normal horse will do the job for you, on PC...

That's why Bethesda promised they will make a new, better engine. It seems that the new engine is just the old one with better textures. If you'd look at Skyrim screen-shots you'd see obvious similarities, mostly in the way the image is rendered. Gamebryo is the one used in Fallout and TES series, idTech is the one used in Brink. ALL of these games are glitchy. Why do you think that the same developers that made those games will make this one any better!?

@andrewivascu First of all, the glitches found in Oblivion and Fallout weren't so bad it detracted from gameplay, I still got over 3000 hours of gameplay our of Elder Scrolls and Fallout combined. Second of all, idTech is an acquisition of Bethesda the PUBLISHER, not the game studio. idTech is in no way a part of Bethesda Game Studios. GameBryo is a commercial engine Bethesda would have to BUY rights for in order to modify, so it is likely they created the Creation engine from scratch.
