I played that sort of guitar on a music fair, last year. Maybe they were set differently, but the pickups were ultra high response, they made the poor little Fender amp I was playing through go into an extreme overdrive. It's impressive how you got these to be so clean and refined.
Very fine fingerwork, you're good at this. I'd like to see you pump the voodoo out of this guitar some time, though.
that wrox!! I should totally play the whole song, you're really good. i especially liked the change in time signature between the opening solo riff and the vocal accompaniment...very nice!
nice sound from amp and proper playing form (left and right hands & elbows). the clicking noise is a little anoying, but a lot better than most chumps out there.
That's a Les Paul Voodoo by Gibson. No longer in production, but beautiful. If you like the sound, wait 'till you see the looks. Holy shit it's a cool looking guitar. Made of Swamp Ash and stained black with a quick red stain that highlights the wood grain. If you look close, you can see the red pearl skull inlay on the 5th fret. Nice playing man. Beer is a wonderful way to enhance your playing. I have a friend that plays damn near every show of his drunk, and he sounds amazing.
That has got to be the nicest sound for this song ever.... FUCKEN FANTASTIC JOB... Honestly... that was Great.. your Guitar has a amazingly warm sound to it... what is it?
What the hell is a bar note? And, um, what's wrong with E powerchord on the 2nd fret of D string? How does that chord differ from the one on the 7th fret, except maybe sounding a little brighter because of playing in lower position on thinner strings? Jesus...
it's funny cause you said you were messing around after a couple beers but that was actually the best cover i've seen, especially when the finger picking kicks in.
GOOD JOB DUDE,I posted the intro to this a couple of days ago also, you play it better than anyone else I have seen on youtube, killer, check out mine if u like,I do it acoustically.rock on dude
OMFG!!! You absolutely nailed this song to PERFECTION. Just one of my favorite Ozzy songs ever. It was just a joy to listen to you play in this video. Thank you for posting this and PLEASE POST MORE!!!!! 10 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS FROM ME PAL.
Plug your guitar into your effects processor. Then stick the 1/4" to 1/8" audio cable into the left out (channel you run to your amp) and the other end to the mic plug on your pc. Then when you record using your webcam or whatever, set it to record the audio of the mic (which should now be your processor).
For these vids I have the processor running to the pc, so it takes direct sound from the processor itself. Add that with the vidio feed from my ghetto webcam. Need to purchase a good mic so I can put up some classical/acoustic vids as well
wow thats a great result u get from those things! wut did u buy if u dont mind me asking? i saw some line 6 PC interface at the local guitar shop..r we talkin bout the same equipment...great playing by the way !!
Its a cord that has a guitar plug on one end, and converts it to a mic sized plug, you can buy them at radio shack for $3 (beats the hell out of the price of the line 6 your talking about). That will work with most any guitar processor. i use a digatech GNX3 guitar workstation.
That its cool as hell, I like the way you played that, . I play it different and only know the intro part. I want to learn the rest of the song but I dont have tab for it.
Thanks. It's probally different because it had been a long ass time since ive played that song, so I guess I was playing it how I remembered it sounding in my head.
pretty close.
