it depends on what your looking at. the toronto maple leafs wanted to get tougher. komisarek is a tough guy thats why we signed him. who can block shots and deliver the hits. we didnt sign him for the points. cause you also got too look who we signed. its all tough players. and a better coach to teach komasirek a better defence ways. know look who will be his d partner. its either kaberle. beachimen. or luke schenn. that would make a difference for a player.

yeah but don't forget that Mike Komisarek is affraid of Georges Laraque, and it can cost him his reputation in a fight. And I know more Komisarek than any lafs fans, its logical. I can say to you that when Komisarek will think about crushing Gomez or Cammalleri, he will saw the face of Laraque, Stewart, Moen, Mara and Gill on the bench and will think about it two times. For Jonas, I can give to you the price he's paying, its not expensive. But I'm saying to myself "If he wasn't pick by any team, it's surely for a good reason." I aknowledge that he got insane stats, but in the european junior league! Even Jaroslav Halak could have stats like that in this league. it depends on what your looking at. the toronto maple leafs wanted to get tougher. komisarek is a tough guy thats why we signed him. who can block shots and deliver the hits. we didnt sign him for the points. cause you also got too look who we signed. its all tough players. and a better coach to teach komasirek a better defence ways. know look who will be his d partner. its either kaberle. beachimen. or luke schenn. that would make a difference for a player.

Without a doubt, you probably have a better coach defense than us. But do we pay 4.5 millions for someone who only give hits and block shots? Never! He will probably play with Schenn, Beauchemin or Kaberle, but no one of them is better than Markov and you have to admit it. If Komi was playing ordinary even with Markov, imagine with a less better defenseman! I'M not saying that he fucking suck for everything, it's just that for 4.5 millions, it's really REALLY too much pay for this guy.

But he is 6'5 and in front of Carey Price during a PK, he will push everyone who try to get in the front of Carey, thing that none of our defensemen were able to do last season. About Halak, that's the point! He was pick! Not like Jonas. A lot of players were being revealed as super star even with a late selection (Robitaille, Markov, Datsyuk, etc). But do you someone without being pick having a great career? Tell me two and I will retire my comment.

Sean Avery has the potential to be a good player but is blocked by his childish antics and unprofessionalism. Tim Thomas was picked but was never brought up in the NHL for a LONG time. Jason Blake is ok. BERGERON definetly had a great career. Curtis Joseph has to be one, past his prime, but his records show him as like 4th on the all time winning goaltenders, Dwayne Roloson is a good goaltender. LOL

But, Cammalleri get 80 points with LA and CGY, Gomez win the stanley cup and the Calder. Gionta scores 48 goal with Gomez as his center. Do their height had a link with all those achievements? No! Bufallo sabres make the east final and 1 game of the stanley cup in 2007 with Pominville (6'2) as their biggest attacker.

we need an elite goalie who can be consistant unlike toskala who plays unreal for some games, then a sack of shit in other games, now, van ryn, and kaberle need to go for a ligit forward and we should hopefully be good, cos leafs didnt have a problem putting the puck in the net last year, they had a problem keeping out of theirs, so hopefully with this new look defence and a healthy vesa and decent back up, its only a matter of time and still dont think thy shoulda traded steen for stempniak
