Fraps vs Camtasia (Desktop Quality)

fraps has better quality simply because it doesnt loose audio sync when playing games for a long time, a better comparison would have been playing a game for about 5 minutes and look at the lighting quality, and the audio synchronization

Fraps is better for actual gaming but fraps takes up allot of space!! Thats theproblem with it

Camtasia for long stuff, Fraps for multiple clips.

BTW Camtasia produces better quality.+You can adjust the keyframe rate of it.

Is it bad if I stick Fraps in to camtasia to reduce file size. Then stick it into Sony Vegas 10 to edit? I just realized how much money I spend..

Honestly,I like CamTasia 7.1 more because I don't know how to make 1080p Videos with Fraps.Also,I can just make 1080p videos straight up with editting anything. >.>.

@MrToletsSweet On the general tab make sure the "Monitor Aero Desktop (DWM)" is checked, then the FPS overlay will come up in the corner of your screen, then press F9 to record. Simples.
