quran is a compilation of sourates, some of them are quite peaceful, some are lukwarm and some are really violente... that's a fact.

In other way, we all know that religious texts all contains passage that could justify violence (with one exception: the New Testament, the Christ message, never exhorts to violence. Never)

The probleme is in that way: quran would't be the real and complete speech of Allah any more if muslims alowed themself to select the verses they likes.
