there's been a load of stuff about her songs not being original and that she hasn't mentioned it but in all honesty, why can't people just find out themselves that it isn't hers? she shouldnt have to spell out everything. loads of people do covers of stuff like 'use somebody' and nobody has anything to say about it coz it's a popular song. its exactly the same but she prefers the less known songs. besides it introduces a lot of people into the originals which a lot of people don't know about.

It doesn't matter that she hasn't announced who the original is by, as long as all the correct legal processes have been done, which is defiantly the case, there is nothing to worry about! Just enjoy the song, if you find the original then good on you!

I don't understand why people keep saying that she should write her own music, I mean seriously. She's 15. Could you write songs at 15? And even if you could, what would they be based on? She probably hasn't had any life experiences that she could write her own songs about. Maybe when she's older she will give it a shot. But until then, I am going to enjoy her covers. I prefer a lot of them to the originals anyway (I have a strong love for the piano and her style of singing)

I can admit now, I'm nowhere near ready to go into the business because I have no experience. I still play local gigs and I still record EPs. She does good covers, but you also need life experience to recognise what songs are about before you do covers of them. I think she's good, but 'people' are right.

Most girls of her age with such talent, which you do not find often specially since in Hollywood there are other qualities that sound just as heavy, if not heavier, as something like a voice, would be singing songs made for her but written by other people...

I think this a very nice introduction, it's like: I am 15 and look at what I can do with the classics, enjoy and look out for my next album :)

I think she's a genuine and modest artist. Even if she's doing mainly covers, at least there's some creativity. Been a long time fan since I heard her cover of Bon Iver's Skinny Love. It's amazing. Love The Naked and Famous but she takes on a different approach for Young Blood and I LOVE it. She's wonderful and deserves a lot.
