I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry modern fuels, use 1:100 two stroke oil / mix as regualar driving fuel that keeps the old gaskets and metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions.
Most Porsche 911 and Benz Pagoda vintage owners in Germany do so :)
You have to adjust your carbs,,thats all, a good Dino 2400 even with 150.000 KM has not less than 170/180 HP I have seen one that even had allmost 200 HP only with rejetted and fine adjusted ignition and carbs. These engines are super high performance engines.
Let em answer for the uploader about what engine is in it:
it's an 2.4 you can see that by the vents in the c-pillar. I thought that everybody who has an dino knows all the differences between an 2.0 and 2.4 :P
Fiat quoted 180 Din Hp for the 2400. DIN HP is measured at the flywheel (BHP too) If you account for a loss of 20% in the drivetrain, 140 HP at the wheels is quite OK. Most older cars lose their power over time, this one seems fine. Sound is terrific too.
