The shot you got of the survivor eating one piece at a time against the sun is real nice. Good looking start, you've got me hooked.
If you get some free sounds from decent sources on the net that might be a good stop gap if you miss a few sounds on location. What editing software you using? Would you recommend it?
@mr1wimpy Thanks man I really appreciate your input, I'll be honest here I can just tell you what was kind of running through my mind w/ the soundtrack, the lack of diegetic sound is combo of 3 things...basically I thought the disconnect that you got with the environment was cool, I love Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross and it is really hard to do sound design which makes me lazy and have very little motivation for doing it lol. Next episode though will have plenty of natural sounds!
@STRIKETOBURN1 for real, I'm gonna have a shock collar on ya, bro. Everytime I see you don't take advantage of sound Imma gonna shock yo neck, u be frying some vocal cords ya know wha I mean? lol Jokin cracka, and I'm joking about this ridiculous accent.
In retrospect I think I should have only had Rex siphon from one car. lol. Oh well, this Episode is like awkward growing pains that a teen goes through. It's a necessary phase. But boy oh boy Episode 2 is gonna blow this out of the water. I would actually like Ep 2 to just use "wild" sounds and maybe a little bit of music. 'Cause No Country For Old Men is sorta like the unofficial "theme" for episode 2. But I'll have to see what your ideas are and apply them to my script if I can.

it was; once again, very very good
i personally, and i know my opinion isnt all that important, im not the director,
but i would have liked to hear some sounds from the world we're viewing
a scream, a gunshot, a car door slam....anything really
not that im claiming the film was bad, it was really frigging awesome
its just the music....sometimes i wasnt sure if it fit the scenario because it was the same whether he was looking around or being attacked.
still though great shooting
